Best new 3DS Eshop games

Hi, I purchased a new 3ds some months ago and have purchased a ton of physical games. I'm currently looking at buying some of the digital Eshop games as well but I'm only looking at games that meet these specific requirements:

-Game is for 3DS or dsiware. No nes, game gear, or other old consoles ports

-Game is 3DS exclusive, or at least 3DS version is the best version.

-Game is not a sequel, prequel, spin-off, or remake.

-Game is digital only. I'm looking for digital games here and if there's a physical version then there's no point buying digital.

-Any genre except sports

I don't care if the game is made by an indie or a large developer. If the game is good and meets ALL requirements then I'm interested.

    Gotta echo the Nintendo published stuff and Gunman Clive duo. Other great choices would be the Guild games by Level-5 such as Crimson Shroud, A Tokyo Tale, and Liberation Maiden, Phoenix Wright Duel Destinies, SteamWorld Heist, Siesta Fiesta, Shantae (3DS and DSi) unless you have them on Wii U, and I know you said no virtual arcade but the 3D Genesis games are fantastic and I would say an upgrade over the originals. Some of these releases recently on a retail cart but not all of them.



    I would pass on Azure Striker Gunvolt because their is a physical release of both games coming when the second game launches.

    I put a stupid amount of time into Starship Defense. If you like tower defense, it is one of the best.

    Seconding Liberation Maiden (which holds the distinction of being the only Suda 51 game I've beaten, on account of it being significantly shorter and less obtuse than your average Suda 51 game)



    Thirding Gunman Clive series (my husband seems to like these a lot)

    Gunman Clive 1 & 2 are very good. Very much like Mega Man. Only bad thing is that they are short.

    I cannot recommend Box Boy and Box Box Boy enough. Made by HAL, they reek of classic Game Boy puzzle design, and are honestly my favorite 3DS eShop games to date.
