Well I thought I'd post in here since it was on the front page still. Just got the Captain America Civil War Superhero Airport Attack set from toys r us yesterday! This was definitely my most highly anticipated set of 2016 when I first saw it. Didn't get a chance to start building it yet, but it'll be done right after I get home.
Alright here's a cool comparison of size in this new set! The middle one is standard mini fig size for reference (He came out of last year's Ant Man set he isn't actually included in this new one) Giant Man is to the left and the micro figure Ant Man (with a really nice paint app for being so small) is on the right under his hand
Just finished the Ghostbusters Firehouse build, got this as a little birthday present to my self. Man was it as fun and time consuming build, I think it took me close to 14 hours all together, worked on it a little bit every day this past week. The amount of detail in this set is amazing.
Jealous of that Firehouse. I have the Ecto-1 set though and it is fantastic!
Here's some of the things I have made. The PS2 is actually a memory card rack that I've been using for a couple years now, because I got sick of looking in 40 different game cases for the card I need.
Just finished the Ghostbusters Firehouse build, got this as a little birthday present to my self. Man was it as fun and time consuming build, I think it took me close to 14 hours all together, worked on it a little bit every day this past week. The amount of detail in this set is amazing.
That set tempts me every time I pass through the Lego store. Last 2 sets I built were the mystery machine and skull eye schooner from the pirates collection
That ghostbusters set is bad ass....i almost had my son talked into it but he is more into the jurassic world stuff . The dinos are really cool and the indominous rex set is bad ass. The others are kinda lame except the dinos
After video games, Legos probably provide me with the most/best childhood memories. I wouldn't mind collecting these as well, but I have to draw the line somewhere. With that said, I can't wait until my son is old enough to start playing with Legos.
Have you guys noticed all the Legos that are on sale at Walmart right now? I passed a lot of Star Wars, Lego City and other sets that were 50% off. Bigger sets too.
Finally found the last set I've wanted for the year! Lego Marvel Superheroes Doctor Strange! It has a lot of cool play features ( by the looks of the building part of the set I think they took inspiration from the Lego big bang theory set)

Was going through old photos and found an alternate photo from that day....this is still my favorite Lego set ever and I still have it assembled.
