What NES series should have went All Star on the SNES?
I always liked the idea of Super Mario All Stars. It is a shame they did not do it with more franchises like Zelda and Metroid. At least there is BS Zelda which is kind of like the next best thing. What series would you like to see go All Star?

Mega Man. I'm sure they would have butchered it, but it would have been great to try all 6 games on the SNES.
^ This!
Castlevania 1-3 would have been nice, along with star tropics1-2.
These are both great suggestions.
I'd also have liked to have seen:
Double Dragon 1-3
Final Fantasy 1-3 (I know, we're dipping into Famicom territory now)
Adventures of Lolo (with option to have Japanese difficulty puzzles)
KOEI strategy collection (Bandit Kings, L'Empereur, Ambition II, etc.)
Contra + Super C + Contra Force
Dragon Warrior 1-4
TMNT 1-3 + possibly Tournament Fighters
I guess Sega got the all star version of Mega Man with Wiley Wars.
Well sort of. It didn't officially come stateside in that era and it only featured the first 3 Mega Man titles.
*have
Yeah, that was driving me nuts too.
Ninja Gaiden Trilogy for SNES should have been much better. In some ways the newer versions were graphically worse.
I've only played Trilogy on emulators, but the music was AWFUL. Such a tragedy because the whole NES series had some of the best chiptunes ever.
You also have metroid zero mission which is kinda like a 16 bit original metroid. I'd have liked to see a Capcom Disney all stars. Both duck tales, both rescue rangers, darkwing duck, adventures in the magic kingdom, little mermaid and a not shitty version of talespin
I've honestly had enough of your bashing Talespin
The three Kemco point and click games. Deja Vu, Uninvited, and Shadowgate. Punch up the images a bit, quicker transitions. Would have been amazing.
also mouse support. Would be badass

Most of their strategy games are already on SNES.

Lolo would look so good on snes graphics..
I actually am okay with SMB2 on All Stars. I don't mind the slight differences in "feel" on the SNES, if any of them. I find it annoying on SMB and certainly SMB3.
And I haven't heard much better about Ninja Gaiden Trilogy, gameplay wise.
So, if that's the benchmark then I wouldn't want anymore games, really.
Sure, it'd be interesting to have Adventure Island 1-3 on SNES.... but if the games aren't as fun, and I've got the NES games, then I'll just play the NES.

Let's settle this properly here fellas.... with some bacon pancakes and maple syrup, and then a calm game of Talespin.
Although I too have said Talespin wasn't that good, it's probably (most certainly) unfair to compare it to the other Disney LEGENDS.
And Talespin is kinda cool.... You can flip upside down and go backwards to grab stuff or kill enemies, it's kinda neat.
I think, looking at the game genie codes, it could be a fun game to give a playthrough.
Although I haven't spent much time trying to actually get good at it.
Although SMB All Stars provides some convenience, it was never as good as playing the NES. Playing The original SMB2 (the lost levels) is cool, though.

Now now, don't you go gettin involved in this. This is between me and that pancake feller.

*Takes maple syrup and leaves. I'll just play Talespin all alone.
But your adamant defense of Talespin has made me want to play it more and give it a little more respect... that's all I meant. *cries

Talespin suuuuuuuuucks
Talespin suuuuuuuuucks
Hmmm.... with this new and in depth analysis I think I will now forever hate Talespin (TaleSpin?).
I just stomped on it and threw it in the garbage.
