What is your favorite NES Publisher out of the "Big 3"?

What is your favorite NES Publisher out of the "Big 3"?


Consider the following:
-gameplay
-music
-graphics
-controls
-box art
-game characters
-collectability
- and so on, consider everything!

Just to be sure use this great site to search by publisher for reference. http://nesguide.com... . I just think it has a really nice layout and search options.

For me Konami all the way. Castlevania, Contra, TMNT...

    I voted Capcom. They owned the NES.

    I would easily say nintendo. Games like Mario 2, Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus, Startropics, and Balloon Fight really make them stand tall. I'm actually not a big fan of Konami on Nes. I prefer them more on the Gameboy and Sega Genesis.

    Tough call. I went with Konami, though Nintendo is a close second. Capcom is up there, but I'm not as big a fan of the "major" games by them.

    Of the three presented, Capcom has the most games that I just keep going back to. There are, of course, must-play classics from all three, but I think Capcom consistently had the most really popular titles of the three.

    Capcom for sure. Mega Man series is my all time favorite. Duck Tales is probably my favorite game on any system. So many good titles made by them. Konami is a pretty close second however.

    looks like tecmo and Hudson were tied. Small 4 doesn't roll off the tongue as nicely

    The NES is the one Nintendo system where Nintendo is not my favorite developer. Of course I like their games, but Capcom owned the NES IMO.

    I'd say Capcom, definitely. Just because of the music in their games. Konami and Nintendo are high up there but I'll always prefer Capcom. Plus as a collector it's much more fun to go after the later Capcom titles as some of these are genuinely rare and fetch a pretty penny.

    Nintendo for sure since games like Zelda, Metroid, and Super Mario Bros were amazing when they came out. As far as Capcom and Konami goes that is so tough because both of them made so many great nes games. If I had to pick one I would have to lean towards konami.

    I would go with Nintendo, since there are so many great games and series they produced: Mario, Zelda, Metroid, etc. Capcom would be next due primarily to the Mega Man series, which I really enjoy. Konami is great for starting Castlevania.

    You mean the best game on the Capcom Entertainment System?



    I mean... I find it hard to choose, really. All three have games I wouldn't want to give up.



    Nintendo - Mario. Enough said.



    Konami - Contra (& Super C), TMNT, Blades of Steel, Castlevania, ...



    Capcom had a ridiculous amount though. There's few Capcom games that I don't like. So that's where my vote went.
