Glad I sold mine when it was hot. If it wasn't for the fact that I needed some extra dough for a trip I was going on I would've likely held on to it for too long.
Man, one seller on ebay has completely destroyed the value of this game. This went from a $250 game to absolute bust. There is another handful listed on ebay again.
I mean it was pretty much anticipated. The high sale prices were obviously going to drive more to the market. This was always going to be an item where it would pop up and get liquidated. Its a once its finally gone, its gone type of game.
The two player aspect of tengen tetris was neat but overall that game ismt as good as standard nintendo. Music is worse, for me its harder to visualize. I just dont like it
Blashemy! Music is better IMO with actual credits to the composers, and visuals are prettier. If I could criticize one thing with Tengen Tetris though, it's the levels lasting for thirty lines. A single game can last a very long time...
I think the Tengen version is better for casual Tetris fans, the Nintendo version for hardcore competitors.
+1 ... The Nintendo version simply has awful music. Nintendo really dropped the ball with that one. Fortunately the Game Boy has excellent music, though.

The A music on Tetris, Dance of the Sugarplum from Nutcracker, is so cliche now. C music is pretty cool though.
Funny story about the Game Boy variant. The earliest release of Game Boy Tetris exclusive to Japan has an entirely different A track based on Russian folk lore, as well as incrementing the levels differently. If you start on level 9, you don't play through 90 lines to progress to level 10. US and Europe both got the Rev A World ROM. Presumably there's no way to tell if a Japanese GB Tetris has early revision with the alternate music track. I discovered this while playing on my GB Everdrive.
Just won an auction for a brand new Let's Sing 2016 bundle for 60$ USD. The listing says it has minor damage but I don't care, I won't keep it wrapped. I'm pretty happy about it.
No way on Lucha Libre, that one is not going to get cheap, no one in Mexico can even find them.
I agree, it's a tough one to get. I found one for sale in Colombia, after months of searching. A few have been found by sellers in Mexico. But those do seem to be far and inbetween. Theres a couple pricey copies on ebay, but these are for sure hard to come by.
See, I remember a few years ago when El Chavo was the new game on the block. No one had them beside one seller and he was selling them for $50 each. Once word gets around, games tend to come more out of the woodwork. I think this is happening with this title right now. There are 2 Luche Libre on ebay currently and at least 2 sold recently. All within like a month? Don't get me wrong, the game is rare, but I think it's becoming more readily available (i.e. less rare). Same thing also happened with Crash Car Racer. I had that as a saved search for over a year with only 2 bites (bought both). Now, they are almost always avaible at any time somewhere.
I'd say the market on this game is officially dead. The influx of overstock could be in the thousands and now these over stock companies are dumping inventory.
I don't think this game will ever get back up to the $200-300 range again. (or at least not for a VERY long time)
^ ok, its not the rarest wii game that everyone thought itd be, but lets not go overboard here just yet. It still has value, a dead wii game is one thats 89 cents at gamestop.
Currently at 465 Wii games after a long trip with Quest4Nes over the weekend. Hit up a chain of stores, mostly found commons and shovel. I did find Dragon's Lair, but it was $20. I gave in & bought it. It burns me when I spend over $5 for a Wii game.

That's a great deal for that game. I swear every time I checked ebay that game has risen in value a few buckas.
One seller dropped their new copy BIN down to $39.99, and has more than 10 available; another is selling a bunch of disc-only copies for $7.99-$14.99.
This is one hell of a, uh, "recall." >_>
You mean Let's Sing 2016, right? Methinks a pallet or two of these must have hit the resell chains. I remember a time when trash shovelware Wii/DS games would hit shops like Big Lots and even Walgreens. Never any 1st party titles though...

Oh right on, I didn't realize this. I got it new out of a best buy bin when it came out for cheap. Its a must have wii title for sure.
Picked up Baroque & Mario Galaxy 1 for buy 2 for $10 a few weeks back. Obviously didn't need Galaxy, but there wasn't many games of value to pick from. It has been dead around my area for a while, no new Wii games are coming through any pawn shops or game stores. I really like buying locally. I guess its that time of the year when everything slows down.

It happened with Kriby's Epic Yarn. I can't speak for outside of the St. Louis area, but all of our Goodwills were hit with several dozen sealed copies of that game at each location. I picked one up for $5.

Finally picked up all the slang (Latin America) releases. Those were a pain.
very nice . I'm still short one on that front :-\

That is awesome. I know El Chavo and Atrevete are still semi-affordable but that wrestling game... Ouch.

Oh yeah, El Chavo is cheap right now...I wonder if the other two will have a supply leak eventually.
Quite possibly. Ever since Luche Libre hit eBay, seems like more are popping up on there.
