Can NA beat every GBA game in a year - 2016
So the old thread hasn't been updated in a long time, and I thought I'd take a shot at rekindling the GBA competition. It's virtually impossible that we will complete all the games this year now, but let's at least try to knock down a few titles.

Rules
• You must have started the game no earlier than January 1, 2016.
• Emulators and Virtual Console are okay but no save states or cheats may be used.
• Only earned passwords are ok
• Photos are not required, but encouraged.
• In game cheats are not allowed
• No calling games, first come first serve
• Any questions that arise as to what constitutes beating any given game will be dealt with on a game to game basis discussion. Most games should have an end game or credits screen
All games must be played entirely in 2016 from start to finish, each victory is worth 1 point.

For anyone considering playing this, my advice would be to not bother. The game is dull, with terrible dialogue in the cutscenes. Enemies sometimes ignore your attacks and either hit you back or just wander off. Enemies can also hide offscreen, which is really annoying. There are far better scrolling beat-em-ups on the GBA.
also how do you technically beat ice climber?
As for Dr. Mario + Puzzle League, I've gone as far as I could go with them both. I don't think either of them have an "ending" so there were no credits to take pictures of. I've played all the modes for as long as I could, so this could be considered beaten at your discretion.
For Ice Climber we should use the same criteria as on the NES thread, so you will need to clear 35 stages, I think.
I am happy to mark Dr. Mario + Puzzle League as complete. If somebody knows of specific criteria for beating it, though, I may have to change that.
Apparently in Puzzle League you get a credit roll if you get at least 10,000 points in Marathon mode. And Dr. Mario shows an ending when you beat level 20, and it unlocks "vertical mode" where you can play holding the GBA sideways. The ending might be better if you beat level 20 at High speed. It certainly is in other versions of Dr. Mario.
Ah okay. Well I guess I haven't reached those points. I ended Dr Mario on level 19, go figure, and I guess I didn't get 10,000 points in marathon mode.I will try for that this weekend so I can keep my point towards completeing the game Thanks for the info!
I'm still plodding through The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, but it is a hefty game, so I'm alternating with another game. In this case, that game is Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance.
