French Zelda on SNES?

Got a question....I sold a copy of Zelda on SNES and the buyer says everything is in French. I knew some games back then had a language select on it. Anyone know of a French version or would there be a language option on the game?

    No, some -CAN version are french only.

    The PAL version of Zelda for the SNES that were sold in France (it has a "-FRA/FRA" region code the game) is only in french as well, at least what i know of.

    i've actually seen 2 of these recently here in canada in a used gamestore.they wanted $20 cart only.

    This version of Zelda was sold mostly in Quebec province in Canada... I remember playign this as a kid but I prefered the english version even if I speak french lol
