  • I grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii. On my last trip out there a few years ago, I drove right past where the old rental store was that I used to visit. It had since become a tattoo parlor, if I recall correctly.

I'd be very surprised if I ever saw a rental game from them show up today.

How many years did they rent games for?    I managed to finally snag a Super Nintendo game from my old rental place (it was a golf game, don't remember which).

I'd pay a huge premium if I could find the Top Gear from there, rented that a bunch.

I'm not sure when exactly they closed up shop but I know I was renting games there as early as '91 and up through at least '96, if not '97 or '98. The last game I can remember renting there was Super Mario RPG.

You would be suprised how games can travel. I live in Indiana, and have recently found 2 games from the small town where I grew up in Kansas. One was close to the town, the other was at a flea market in the middle of Missouri. I should have kept a list, At garage sales in the last 15 years I have seen stickers from as far away as Texas.
