  • Chuck had a Colecovision title, Superkicks. I think it might have been on Atari as well.

The console could never handle that much Chuck Norris and would burst into flames upon turning on the game.

    This. Lol.

For TV shows,I would have loved to have seen a Voltron game and....an A-TEAM game!!

For movies.....um....not sure if any of these were ever made into games, but here goes the list:

    Revenge of the Nerds

    Short Circuit

    Slap Shot

    Major League

    Stripes

    Caddyshack

    Sidekicks

    Spaceballs
  • Pee-Wee's Big Adventure

    Teen Wolf
  • Knightmare. UK tv show.
  • Anyone notice the Pat the Nes Punk video that came after this thread?

Not to be a C64 fanboy but some of the best mid 80's cartoons had the most games on the C64. You had:

    Centurions

    3 M.A.S.K games games

3 Masters of the Universe games

    2 Transformers games

    Madballs

    Thundercats

    GoBots

    The Real Ghostbusters

    BraveStarr

    Captain Power

    There's probably more
  • Undergrads is the obvious one.

It would have to be a strategy RPG where you manuever your way through your freshman year at a big state school, or just a Gimpy Simulator type game.

Cowboy Bebop is the other one. Yes, it got a couple games in Japan, but nothing in the USA (where the series was significantly more popular).

there's already Predator,Commando,Total Recall, and Terminator games so why was the running man left out? it's no more R rated than Robocop and there's 3 of them..

I second this - a lot of other Arnold movies could have been games

I know there have been games about The Expendables and Jurrasic World was included in LEGO Jurrasic Park, but I'm still surprised there aren't more releases (or major releases) coinciding with those (for good or bad)

Once again the running man exists. The best version, the amiga version, is right here:

"China" isn't even one of my favorite Carpenter. My favorite is "They Live." But it definitely would translate well to games.

Isn't that basically the premise of Bart vs the Space Mutants?

In a sense, Running Man is covered by Smash TV...

I really wish they had done a Captain N and the Gamemaster... it would have been cool to see a big IP crossover (sort of like Konami did with Wai Wai world) I guess we eventually got it years later with Super Smash Bros. But I still would have liked to have seen it done in the 8-bit era as an action platformer.
  • I've always thought The 'Burbs would have made a good game. Either a platformer where you go into your neighbours' houses collecting objects/clues, or a Zombies Ate My Neighbors type game.
  • the a-team. if they made it like the simpsons arcade game and used villains from the show it would have been awesome.
  • Over the Top

You're Stallone and you drive a big rig across the country to different arm wrestling competitions while being chased by your father-in-law's hired goons.

    Roadhouse

You're Patrick Swayze and each level features a different dive bar that you have to clean up and make profitable, culminating with an epic boss fight with Ben Gazarra. It would combine beat 'em up elements with business sim elements.

The Roadhouse game needs to happen.

Sorry Over the Top was made into a commodore 64 game in 1987.

    Over-the-Top -- with a 2-player Power Glove interface

Roadhouse would be a great one, though.

I can completely imagine Roadhouse in the style of the Capcom CPS2 arcade beat-em-ups.

  • Macgyver!

It would have to be a puzzle game.

    Just re-skin TMNT?

Pallet swap, say the shells are them hunched over.  Don's staff is a cane. TMNT 2 could be an empty nest spin-off.

  • Steve Urkel
  • If we're going off palette swaps or similar gameplay styles, could Lester The Unlikely work kind of like an Urkel game? Add a few robots and kung-fu and such, but it's pretty close, yeah?

Closer than Home Improvement got, anyway.
