Any documentation for exactly how the NES Deluxe Set with R.O.B. was packaged?
I did a bit of searching on Google and YouTube and can't seem to find specifics about how the controller and AC adapter and such were packaged. Mine doesn't have any of the baggies and such and the previous owner had things shoved where it didn't belong. There is one damaged area that's missing a chunk of foam that makes it even harder to figure out in reverse.
Thanks!
Oh! Also, I thought I heard somewhere that the original black box games had black dust sleeves with no Nintendo and that they began differentiating only after they started allowing 3rd parties to publish games (even early 3rd party black box games were pretty much published by Nintendo).
Thanks!

If you or anyone else could verify that the original black box games came with black sleeves I would greatly appreciate it. It would make a great impact to my OCD list. As far as I know all Nintendo published games had the Nintendo sleeve. The originals had a very hard plastic feel to them and I have yet to find a black sleeve that matches that same feel.
Thanks! Trying to make out where the RF switch goes. Is the Zapper pointed at it?
The ROB Deluxe Set is tricky to put everything back the right way. The controllers go side to side if I remember and the AC adapter goes on the right.

Wherever I heard that I got the impression that it was a bit of a theory prompted by something else. If there's any truth to it then it'd probably be in reference to the earlier non-Deluxe ROB set. I don't even know why we were talking about it but since you've never heard of it, it answers the question to my satisfaction.
I could do a video if you like
I'd also be interested in a video!

alright here is a short video hope this helps sorry for the amateur style lol first video lol
Bthe deluxe sets i have. The ac cant go there its too tight and will break the foam. Looks like yours in the origibsl pick doesnt have that foam wall
Foam wall is there plastic bag on rob is covering it and rob and the Ac have never been taken out they are firmly In
I see a difference in the way the controllers are packed too but I'll assume that they are supposed to line up with the notches they made in the foam to grab them with your fingers.
Thanks again for your help!

I'm guessing there are two foam versions for the deluxe set. Maybe an early and late release.

Id guees different foam versions.
Thanks for the video! I'd like to see where the Zapper and AC adapter's cords are routed, if possible. In your video it looks like they go under and then the tip comes back out facing down, but I can't be sure. In the first picture it looks flush with the foam on the right so I assume the prongs are facing left or down. In the second picture they are definitely facing down, but this takes more room than I think is available. The foam is already broken around my AC adapter. It looks like the prongs are facing to the right in your video.

Hi yes the tips of the adapter are facing down and I guess I could do another video but honestly rob and the zapper have never been moved .

Mine is like the second pic but the bottom wall was clearly broken off/missing. Still wonder how it was supposed to fit in and I can't experiment without that bottom wall.
