I think everyone is probably ready for a bit of a break from the contests and I want to focus my efforts now on working on the 2017 game list. I originally wanted to do a game that we wouldn't normally play for the contests, like a repro or homebrew, and have some really interesting and fun rules to go along with it, but I couldn't come up with anything. Plus, with the holidays coming up and my work schedule starting to get a bit more hectic, I won't have as much time to monitor a contest. However, like last year, I am going to do a year-end prize giveaway within the next week or so.

I think you're right. I know I'm pretty burnt out from the tournament and can use a few months vacation from NES competition.
