NES Box and Manual Rarity Guide
We've had various cartridge rarity guides forever, but has anyone ever tried to make a list of which boxes and manuals are hardest to find? I know with some games like Chubby Cherub or DK Jr Math, the carts are moderately uncommon, but the box and / or manual on those two make the difference between a $60 game and a $1200 game. Are there any games that are super cheap and common but for whatever reason the box and manual never come up for sale?

Generally if the game is hard to find, the paperwork is even harder.
There are some common games where the box/manual isn't that easy to find - Stinger for example is difficult to find a very nice box for.
But, examples like that are already represented in the NA database.

Except when I tried to fix the loose cart section.
Chubby Cherub a 4? Sure ok then!

Think there's a resistance for people to chime in as there's been repeated "price hikes" from people cornering the market on games that are actively discussed in threads like this as being rarer then generally known. It happened with the SNES list; some of the games were listed up on Ebay shortly after that thread with an "Only copy on Ebay!" tagline that are still sitting there with such, and you can definitely blame the thread for that.
In a perfect collector "vacuum", information would be readily shared and available to all who sought and shared it, but alas we live in a time when retro game collecting has been a "thing" for several years and all the people "in the know" aren't in a rush to get others up to speed. Especially when it means "reseller first, collector second" types corner stuff to make a quick $ as the result.
Honestly though, with the technology out there at our fingertips, and worldwide-stores like Ebay + Amazon at our disposals to gauge what's tough to find.............. all it takes is a little self motivation and paying attention to trends + developers to figure this stuff out for yourself. You don't NEED other people to figure this hobby out.
