is PAPER MARIO the LAST "1st party exclusive" Wii U release?

I was wondering if the latest paper mario game, that was just released on the Wii U is the last Nintendo 1st party release that has been announced for the WII U that is "exclusive" to the system?...i do not want to take "breath of the wild" Zelda into account, since it is a dual release, with the NX version bound to be superior....i collect a lot of Wii U games, and always go for the first party exclusives, so wondering if "this is it"? the swan song for the Wii U is Paper Mario?

    People thought Twilight Princess would be better on Wii than GC you know...



    Besides, what difference does it make that a game is cross platform? Zelda BOTW works on the Wii U, it's a Wii U game. Who cares if it's on NX too? Twilight Princess was originally a Gamecube game, the Wii port doesn't make the GC original invalid. The same applies to Zelda BOTW.

    Zelda Breath of the wild is the last 1st party exclusive. It counts. So nope.

    Yeah Breath of the Wild is on NX too, but it might turn out to be another Twilight Princess were the game best and rarest version is the GameCube one.



    The Wii version is pretty bad and only uses the WiiMote with no controller option and the Wii U Remaster has technical and performance issue not seen in the original GameCube versions and Wii port.

    I think without a doubt the Wii U version of Breath of the Wild will be the rarer version down the line. Guaranteed NX version sells a lot more. Paper Mario might be the last exclusive first party game for Wii U but Breath of the Wild is still its swan song.

    I don't think Project Giant Robot is going to see the light of day to be honest, at least not on Wii U anyway. When's the last time we heard anything about it? 2 years ago?

    Yeah, probably Paper Mario unless there is another coupled release with another game like BoTW... The NX sounds like it will be similar to the Wii U so I wouldn't be completely surprised if they released another launch title on both systems.

    No idea what's going on with it. They announced it and showed something about it around 2-3 years and it just completely dropped off the radar since then.

    Id actually rather play breath of the wild on wii u with the gamepad map thing they showed off.

    My vote goes to Breath of the Wild, though the latest Paper Mario is a decent game. From what I've played so far, much better than Sticker Star but doesn't come close to Thousand Year Door. Perhaps nothing ever will...



    Perhaps both will be difficult to find in the future though.
