Damn, I read page two and three of the palamedes manual...but then I quit. I'll try again tomorrow, probably play it too but I need to clean the cart first.
i was only familar with this from mario 3 and i enjoyed it on there but this version is terrible not sure i can stomach anymore of it

Physics on this port is all weird. It is like they used integer math rather than float math for the physics. It just doesn't feel right at all.
That's what I was trying to say, early on. So used to the SMB3 version where you have much more control over your jumping, and don't slide so much. I got used to this version pretty quick, but the first runs were tough.

I am having an issue with the controls of this game. I never did get used to the way the game plays. The edges of the bricks are not well defined, like you can jump through them on the edges. Jumping on top of the POW button for some reason is difficult for me.

I doubt I'll even make it to round 2 because I can't do Mario Bros. I'm pondering smashing the cart with a hammer in a fit of rage.
