Level 1. Even then you need lightning fast reflexes to get the bonus.
Lulz. I've been playing Mario Bros. since last week and my current posted score is the best I've done. At some point hammer will meet plastic in a fit of rage.
Had a good run yesterday, so I updated my original score post(tier 3 = 705500). That's my last submission for this contest, unless I somehow get knock out before sunday. Think I'll try the upper tier challenges just to see how I fare.

My best score so far is 101,500 and playing level 1 difficulty. But it will probably be level 5 for tier 1. This is a pretty fun game.
Tier one is always Max difficulty, one life.
You're probably better off learning how to play it as a puzzle game than try to win by getting perfects on every stage.
Even Tom said that you can only get perfects on the earlier levels (I couldn't even do it on level 1).
