I've never beaten a Ninja Gaiden game, and the only reason I was able to complete GnG was because it was one of the first 10 or so games I had growing up. Now, I had never played Mario Bros. for any real length of time before last week. Compared to other arcade NES titles, this one has to be the easiest. Maybe I need to try Popeye again.
Score updated. I know I could do better, but beating 500k has been my goal for the last few days. Whew. Even if I can advance to the next round, I'm dreading playing a puzzle game (which I've never even heard of prior to the tournament, let alone played).

It's a puzzle game where you can get more points playing it as a shooter. Weird game.
It seems I will be out on this round as I would have to almost triple my current score in order to advance. I will keep trying and hopefully I can improve on my score.
Maybe I will give it another run, but most likely not. If I don't make to round 2, so be it.
