Ars Technica tours the National Video Game Museum

Ars Technica gaming writer Sam Mackovech recently took a tour of the National Video Game Museum in Frisco, TX which opened earlier this year. The article's gallery of what is on display is truely impressive; the muesum is filled to the brim with reto gaming's holiest of holy grails.

I hope they noticed since the footnote clearly explains the setup. So much game porn at this place, I think the best part is the lineup of protos.
  • So much awesome stuff I have no interest in owning
  • That is super cool. I wonder if it would appeal to everyone, or just late GenXer's and Early Millennials. If I am ever in the area I will have to stop by.
  • I know they had a room dedicated also at the Mount View, CA Computer History Museum (www.computerhistory.org) but this is pretty cool, good excuse to stay in Texas extra day next time I travel there.
