    Congrats!

Finding a mint copy of Fighting Force 64 was actually much harder than I'd anticipated, same with Aidyn Chronicles gray. Both were surprisingly difficult to track down. Had a hell of a time finding a copy of Yoshi's Story International Version too, but I guess that's less surprising.

I'll second this. It looks awesome displayed like it is. I'm guessing it's custom shelves?

Thanks for the kinds words, and it makes my day that you'd even guess that those were custom shelves. Believe it or not those are  $30 department store shelves you can buy at any Walmart. I couldn't believe my luck when I first assembled them and discovered that two of those shelves holds almost an exact full NTSC N64 set (I think I have 4 Japanese games filling the remaining space), fitting perfectly in both height and width. Truly just a stroke of good luck that they display like that

  • Nice to see some N64 love. How are the spine labels treating you? Do you notice any peeling or residue (if you had to take them off for any reason...) I like his labels the best...very fitting with the colors and much less garish then the other spine labels you see floating around. But I still wonder with all these spine labels if they'll peel after several years or if they'll leave some nasty stuff on the carts.

One day I'll have a full set too...just...with out the variants. If I start collecting variants I'll drive myself nuts. It's bad enough I want two full sets of all the older games...one CIB and one just manual and game...if I dived into variants and NFR carts I'd be collecting till I'm 70.
  • Congrats man, glad to have been part of the completion too! (assuming this is my former nfr oot sitting there  )
  • Congrats man, something I will never do is go for a complete set but I can certainly respect it.

N64 game for game has a pretty good library, I don't care what anyone says.

Wow, really impressive. I'm passively going for the 64 set, too, and it's posts like these that keep my blood up for it. Amazing to see all the subsets and whatnot. Are the Player's Choice duplicate games just code variants or something? I'm probably missing something super obvious.

No surprise to see, but I'm definitely digging how organized and aesthetically pleasing it all is, too. Did you debate about presentation/storage? I see you went with top labels and individual cart protectors. Looks snazzy.

Congrats! Always love to see people polish off a nice set.

The duplicate Player's Choice games (Mario Kart and Super Mario 64) are only different in that the ESRB rating on one version is "K-A" and on the other copy the rating is "E". Not a huge difference, but I still just had to get 'em

Thanks a lot for the kind words, I definitely debated presentation and storage for a good while before I put everything together, and I'm very pleased with how it all turned out.
