I added to cart and the checkout came up, refreshed, and said the item in my cart was no longer available. Absolutely insane.
I bet the site is just busted from the traffic.. I doubt they had such low stock that they sold out within a few seconds as everywhere made it sound like they would have at least a few minutes worth of stock.

Yup, it's incredibly stupid. I don't know what's been going on with Nintendo these last couple of years but they need to get their head out of their asses. First it was amiibogeddon that everyone was buying amiibos left and right, stores couldn't even keep them in stock because Nintendo "didn't realize how popular it was". Then the New 3DS XL Majora's Mask edition...anyone remember that debacle? Another pure BS moment. And they never made them again. Scalpers bought all them up and sold them for a big profit. And now this crap. NES Classic. I don't get it. Whatever happened to the days where something would come out and you could just walk into a store and just buy it? Now it'slike you have to take the day off of work, camp out the night before, and be ready to slit some throats on the way. It's insane. It makes me not want to be a Nintendo fan. If this garbage goes down when the Switch comes out, I'm going to be pissed.
the place i went to get mine this morning had nothing but neckbeard scalpers in line. they were watching ebay bins go up and kept celebrating everytime it jumped another 100. sorting bin highest first. "its at 500 bro im gonna make a quick 2 gs." get a f###ing life you fat dorks. i was really hoping some jordan esq robberies would happen in the parking lot.

Never seen something like this happen where it sold out instantly (at least from my experience). There always was at least one minute before something hyped up got sold out.
Guess have to wait until this insane hype wears out. Was hoping to get one for Thanksgiving with my family and friends...ah well.
