Found a NWC 311 on Ebay you think its worth to bid?

Found a NWC 311 on Ebay you think its worth to bid? I did some research and it was owned from a member from here name is bearcat-doug. However this vendor is from Netherlands. What do you guys think?

Comments

  • 311 is VGA 85+ graded and owned by a collector in the states. So I'd stay far away.
  • Yeah that's the one. VGA 85+ graded on eBay
  • Oh well if it's his then it must be okay.
  • Heh, saw the listing on ebay as well. The 1 pic on the listing is of the VGA 85+ graded copy.

Also fun to note is the ebay seller's account was created 10 days ago, and has zero feedback, only 1 listing.
  • Yeah a little sketchy. 5 bidders too uh oh
  • I'd wager stolen pics
  • It could just be a coincidence. I say we wait until the supposed owner come forward to clear this up. It's the only way to be sure.
  • I would like to bid, however sketchy. Can always bid and then ask for more pics? Also talk direct.
  • It is not a legitimate listing as the image is stolen. Do not bid on this.
  • No dont bother.
  • Yup, fake. Stolen. Its owned by dude in ohio. A friend of a friend.
  • Can it be reported as such to help the person who won the auction? Or is this just something they have to learn the hard way?
  • If someone is going to spend that much on that sort of item without due diligence or even just a tiny bit of research considering that virtually any information is available on the internet... Fuck 'em. It has to happen. The problem isn't so much that people can be incredibly foolish, but that we somehow feel obligated to pamper the real morons.

Yeah, I sold it to a guy in Cleveland and he still has it as far as I'm aware.
  • (waits for the Finders Keepers thread for somebody that won NWC for $4550 on ebay just now)

Nah, it's 100% fake.  I tried to buy this cart from the real owner earlier in the year. He isn't selling and collects a lot more stuff than just video games.

I'm sure you've seen the peeps that post Finders Keepers well before they have something in hand only for it to go completely pear-shaped.

Yeah, I'd like to think the "winning bidder" was just going to non-pay and protect innocents, or non-pay until receiving additional pictures that are dated with the sellers name (which wouldn't happen).

I'd never bid on obvious fakes but the winning bidder doesn't have much to lose either (as long as they don't pay).

  • A google search with the cart # will probably bring this thread up first result. i don't understand people who don't put the time in. Especially with such high value shit. It truly baffles me.

Even more baffling are the people who think that - after knowing what we know here - it still might be worth a shot. Heheh.
  • Hey its me I still own this game.

    Dude but it's 100% fake.

  • Pretty sure he is saying he owns the game the picture was stolen from and was not the winner of this auction. It was mention earlier the owner lived in Ohio and this guy also lives in Ohio. He owns the real game not the fake auction.
  • Nice 3 year bump. Had me going for a minute till I looked at the dates lol
