Also fun to note is the ebay seller's account was created 10 days ago, and has zero feedback, only 1 listing.
It ended at $4550
Yup, fake. Stolen. Its owned by dude in ohio. A friend of a friend.
Yeah, I sold it to a guy in Cleveland and he still has it as far as I'm aware.
(waits for the Finders Keepers thread for somebody that won NWC for $4550 on ebay just now)
Nah, it's 100% fake. I tried to buy this cart from the real owner earlier in the year. He isn't selling and collects a lot more stuff than just video games.

That's the joke.
I'm sure you've seen the peeps that post Finders Keepers well before they have something in hand only for it to go completely pear-shaped.

Yeah, I'd like to think the "winning bidder" was just going to non-pay and protect innocents, or non-pay until receiving additional pictures that are dated with the sellers name (which wouldn't happen).
I'd never bid on obvious fakes but the winning bidder doesn't have much to lose either (as long as they don't pay).

Fuck 'em. It has to happen. The problem isn't so much that people can be incredibly foolish, but that we somehow feel obligated to pamper the real morons.
A google search with the cart # will probably bring this thread up first result. i don't understand people who don't put the time in. Especially with such high value shit. It truly baffles me.
Even more baffling are the people who think that - after knowing what we know here - it still might be worth a shot. Heheh.
Hey its me I still own this game.
Dude but it's 100% fake.
