My name is Ed and I am a video game addict. It started back in the Atari 2600 age and hasn't stopped and hopefully won't. I have had and played just about every system all the way up to the Wii U but didn't really get into the PS4 or Xbox One yet. I am sort of going backwards in terms of games and have been appreciating the more retro games, such as the NES. In addition to the NES, I also setup a MAME and other systems arcade machine and got a couple pinball machines as well as I don't really have that much room for a full blown arcade. I have always had a special place in my heart for Nintendo as that is really when I started getting into games around the age of 8.
I was debating if I wanted to get an NES Classic but after failing multiple times through many different avenues, I fortunately came across the Retrousb site and found out about Flashcarts, the AVS, etc. I just recently ordered the PowerPak and AVS and also really want a Vs. SMB NES cartridge but unfortunately they don't make those anymore, so I posted a WTB ad in this forum and hoping I get lucky. I didn't realize how many NES Hacks and Homebrews existed but I am looking forward to getting back into the NES system and games as well as that is one of the few systems the wifey likes to play.
