  • Got to 190 something but choked again. I'm tapping out, so its yours pimp.
  • I'd guess this is going to be on the contest slate next year, so this was very informative; there is no point in trying to get anything more than participation in it, puzzles are just not my strong suit
  • I had to learn the hard way you can't use a phone emulator for contests when you have to take a picture with said phone...

Anyways, great job on the scores guys!
  • Did I win? Did I win?

haha I can only imagine your triumphant victory only to realize shit. How do I take a picture now?
  • Chapter 10:
     SCOREBOARD-"Need a Pill"

    Dr. Mario

    VETO-Final Scores
    Place Score Username
    1 209,700 ne$_pimp
    2 188,400 Brock Landers
    3 93,300 BertBerryCrunch
    4 63,600 GoldeneyeGamer

Congratulations ne$_pimp,  you have won the power of VETO! You have just less than 24 hrs (sorry for my slow update) to use (or not use) it. PM me **Veto: Fluffy. If you do not PM me by the deadline, you lose it, and its treated as if you used it on no one. If you do use it, the HOH will decide on a replacement nominee.

PM me by 11/30/16 at 9PM EST (NA time).
  • Question, last elimination I believe Dave and Alakhira were HOH's candidates. NED won veto power and used his veto to change Dave out. Brock and Vec weren't around so they were in turned nominated in and out of Brock Vec and Alakira, Vec was voted out.

This time if NE$-Pimp doesn't choose to veto Brock, does that mean Brock is the only one in the running to be voted off since only people chosen by the HOH are candidates to be voted off and Pimp now has immunity from veto challenge?

Cause that seems how it is set up right now or am I missing something?

if pimp decides to use the veto on one of the two noms then the Hoh will have to pick a replacement nominee. Since he is on the block he will likely use the veto on himself. If he used the veto on Brock then he would remain on the block and could be voted out. But if pimp was not on the block and used the veto then the HOH could not put pimp on the block as a replacement nom.

Yea, he's correct. Basically pimp will be replaced if he uses the VETO on himself and it will be Brock vs the replacement nominee when the voting begins.

I think the confusion there was with the terminology. Hoh is the one choosing who goes on the block. The block right now is Brock and pimp
  • Im sorry Brock, but Im going to have to protect myself. As Im sure anyone in my situation would do.

I think NESking and Jordy will be safe to since we all know HOH would never select them as nominees.
  • HOH stands for Head of Household and is the most powerful position you can have in the game. HOH competitions occur once a week, to start off the new week. They could be anything from a high score challenge at an NES game, to a quiz to see who earns the best score. Regardless, the winner player is the new HOH and is safe for the week, and must nominate TWO other players to be evicted. The HOH only lasts for one week, and the outgoing HOH cannot play in the next HOH competition.

VETO competitions are also played once a week. After the two nominees are named, they both have a chance to save themselves through the VETO competition. The HOH and two nominees all play in the veto competition. 3 other players, randomly selected, will also play in the VETO challenge. The winner is also safe for the week, and can choose to VETO one of the HOH's nominees. If they choose to do so, HOH must name a replacement nominee.

Ok just as I was looking at rules I took it as in the HOH challenge the winner player is the new HOH and is safe for the week, and with the veto challenge the winner is also safe for the week as the same safe as the HOH. Guess I'm mistaken.

I'm also guessing, say I won this weeks veto challenge and vetoed Brock, Goldengamer has to pick a new candidate, he couldn't choose Brock again and wouldn't be able to choose me either?

Anyone who wins one of these things should protect themselves, period.  I expected nothing else.

  • I actually anticipated this awhile ago and told Vec I'd be the next to go. It's the strategic thing, right? There's a reason Goldeneye went after the two of us.

But there is a reason Vec and I nominated dave and Alakhira. We went after the inactive players. Why? To keep this thing fun and engaging. So I guess my impassioned defense if for pimp to nominate someone who basically isn't playing (ie dave), and for everyone to vote them out. Because otherwise the most strategic thing for survival is to basically not play, not post scores, or post poor scores.
  • Hey might be part of people's strategey Brock. And pump doesn't nominate a new player just vetos himself out and golden nominates a new person in for voting.

No, it is their strategy.  That's why Vec is gone, and why I'm next.

Then Goldeneye has to sit out the next HOH game, and then gets nominated by that person.

Makes sense. Goldeneye targets people and people find out through pm or this thread who he is allied with or protecting. Bam now the target is on him next round, otherwise he runs the show from here on out.

Brock are you still part of the HOH room?
  • No, must be a new thread each time

Yea I kind of worded this badly, What I meant to say was the winner of the VETO comp can always survive the week, if they use the VETO on themselves. If they aren't on the block but they use the VETO, then they are safe and can't be put up as the replacement nominee.

Speaking of which, I can confirm the VETO was used on ne$_pimp by ne$_pimp. I'm going to do this week's replacement nominee a little different from now on becase of how it ended up playing out last week. This week, the HOH will post who they want to put up as the replaceent nominee in their own post after I have confirmed the VETO to be used. So without further ado, tell us who your replacement nominee is, GoldeneyeGamer.
  • Thanks Fluffy, *pics up microphone*, Hey everyone, how're we doing?

    *crickets chirping*

Ok... So things are feeling a bit down at the moment, and I just want to say that I made my choices so I'm able to enjoy this game for as long as possible. I hate having to vote, in fact in all the votes I made in Survivor I'd make sure to say something important just so I could add a "sorry" to the end and have it verbatimly posted. I don't want my votes to bring a damper onto the contest, were here to have fun!

I wasn't quite sure who to put in as a replacement, but a certain Winter Warlock helped me cement my choice  . Without further interruption, I hereby nominate JordyRamone.
  • Alright, your nominees are JordyRamone and Brock Landers, you have until tommorow at 9PM to vote. PM me **Vote:Fluffy. The HOH and 2 nominees are not allowed to vote. In case of a tie, the HOH will break the tie.

PM me votes by 12/1/16 at 9PM ET (NA time)

Hey just so you guys know I do have a source I got my info from, and thought I would spill the beans in the thread. And I wasnt the only one with this info before posting. So yeah, who else has info and how did I find out? Thats for goleneye, king and Jordy to figure out.
Was Jordy the right choice? Whos in the HOH room? And whohas been sharing info? All question we need to start asking ourselves.

My question is does anyone have any clue on the unknown voice riddle floating out there. If you did figure out the first step then looking at this post somewhere will give a clue that I found the first clue but am lost as to what it means but guessing we will find more clues as we go on. Pm me if you have any thoughts as I have some but am lost as of now on where to go from here.
  • I just assumed generic was the voice, since fluffys last elimanation made it seem that way. Plus hes been super quite.

But who knows perhaps there is another person playing that is hidden to us.

But Goldeneye certianly is making it out that way with the mic thang.

I'd say it's a 50/50 shot between him and king, I'm figuring it's one of them fed you the false information. My best guess is that Jordy's compliment on my Gradius score wasn't sincere, just a way to make him look like he's on my side.

Good guesses, but they're not in here. I've just been sitting back and enjoying the hot tub

Didn't you know you aren't aloud to do that. Or sarcasm.
