Help Me Pick Out a PS4 Game for My Brother
Hello all, I need to buy my brother a PS4 game for Christmas under the guise that it is from my parents. I haven't really kept up on new games the last year, so ideally I'm looking for something that released the last couple of months. He is into RPG's, games like Fallout, Bioshock, Batman, Uncharted, etc...he is not into first person shooters. Thanks in advance!

Agreed...it's a massive game too. Bloodborne is an action RPG that is sweet. Neither are within last couple months, but still good!
Also, a dude I work with keeps saying Witcher is the best game he has ever played. So there is that game too.
Maybe even get him a year of PS+ if he doesn't have it already. They have crazy sales around the holidays. I got a digital download of Mega Man X4 for about $.80 last year.
Also, Skyrim Special Edition. If you're into Fallout 4, this is a no-brainer. It's got mods, and while they're not as varied as the XBOX One or PC, there's still some good mods on there. The mods also don't mess up your save file as it makes a new file for you just in case you want to have a separate profile for trophies and such (Same for Fallout 4 as well). It runs on a 64-bit engine, so little to no freeze glitches, faster loading times, and NPCs don't talk about arrows in the knees as much.
Unlike Fallout 4, the framerate on Skyrim is a good locked 30fps, where on Fallout 4 it dips here and there and can get blurry at times.
Bioshock the Collection: All the Bioshock games in one package, plus better textures and framerates.

Battlefield 1, rise of the tomb raider, ff15, and last guardian have all hit in the last month or so and are pretty fantastic
If he doesn't have witcher 3 the complete edition is a great value. The blood and wine expansion alone has more content then many full retail games. Also bloodborne, wolfenstein the new order, and until dawn are great title you can find in the bargain bin.

It was originally a game for the Amiga and it didn't get released until a few years ago, and then they ported it to the ps4 for some reason.

It was originally a game for the Amiga and it didn't get released until a few years ago, and then they ported it to the ps4 for some reason. Watch caddicarus video on it. It is hilarious
There's also a SNES spinoff called Super Putty, but I don't know how close it resembles the Amiga or PS4 versions.
