Did you ever Google "Google" ?

I'm not sure why I find this fascinating.

Did you know that there is a separate category on eBay for eBay memoribillia.

And here is the Wikipedia entry on Wikipedia.

Now I'm curious if there is a Nintendoage member named Nintendoage.........

  • I kid you not, in order to get to the Google site, my wife searches "Google" on the Google search bar built in to her browser (Chrome). I don't have the heart to tell her.

My mom searches for Google from Yahoo, then searches Google for what she wants.
  • I used to google other search engines to see if the "system" would crash.

    It never did.

I was a very bored kid.

  • With the omnibox in a Chrome, every time a user enters simply "google" to return to Google, they are googling google.

No, I'm not one of those users who googles for an exact URL. Ugh. My older brother does that. I instinctively hit CTRL+ENTER to add www. and .com when I know it's the right website (works for any browser on Windows but not Mac; not sure if there's an equivalent Mac shortcut).
  • I love this thread.

  • No, but I once poured Coca Cola into a Pepsi branded cup. Never been the same since.

Playing with Fire there! My friend works for a Pepsi distributor and they'd fire him if they saw him do that. XD

Being close to Coca-Cola headquarters, I've known a few people who work for Coke with similar restrictions (can't be seen with Pepsi; can be seen with store/no-name brands).

It's funny hearing when celebrities goof on endorsement contracts with similar provisions. Brittany Spears with Coke/Pepsi, Beyoncé with Blackberry/Apple, etc.

Yeah I once mixed Pepsi and Coca-Cola Slurpees together at 7-11 for a kid I was babysitting.

I knew what was I getting myself into was fairly serious. I'm no chemistry expert but I knew well enough that mixing Coke and Pepsi could have dangerously volatile results.

I wasn't wrong. I'll spare you the details, but the kid didn't live to tell the tale.
