Weather check

It's raining here.

It rained last week, too, and that was the week I discovered the genius who had my place before me had patched up a leaky window frame with Scotch tape.   A little silicone later and it's not leaking anymore.

So what's your weather like?

  • It looks like it's going to rain all day tomorrow here. No idea on Christmas though.
  • Snowed today, but it's supposed to rain on Christmas day...
  • Lotsa rain today, tomorrow, and Christmas in South West Michigan
  • Rain as usual. Bleh.
  • Hell it's like partly cloudy and 55 outside now 9pm cst and supposedly it's going to be near 70 Christmas day. Tennessee weather is fucked up sometimes, which I'm not complaining as I hate being cold.
  • Supposed to get up o 30 cm snow Christmas day Dryden ON lol Frankie McDonald's got us stocked on pizza, Pepsi, and Chinese tho. We're good.
  • Rain. Maybe a bit of slush.
  • We now have thunder!
  • Supposed to be sunny and in the 40s.
  • 50° and damp.
  • Rained all day today. Going to rain tomorrow. Christmas morning cloudy chance of rain.

72 degrees christmas day. ughhh. usually its 40s-50s. Occasionally snows around christmas. Not even close this year.
  • looked like Silent Hill outside all day long. no joke, had to drive for hours in Superman 64 levels of fog.
  • Clear day with snow cold temperatures, that's New England for ya.
  • Some days are cool, most others I'm burning the Hell up.
  • It'll be storming with a high of 71 !! Texas is crazy

Haha! Yes the fog was crazy in Texas today. Looks like an N64 game

  • Thunderstorms and high of 72. Never know though. This past Saturday was 80 and Sunday got to 16.
  • That reminds me. I grew up hearing this song at least a couple times a day. Every time it rains I think about it.

I showed a couple of millennials that work for me the song and they were like, "Oh, yeah, it's in GTA San Andreas!" And I felt very old.
  • Bloody sunny and warm.
  • Snowed about a week ago here, but until then it looks like it's gonna be nothing but rain and gloom.

Oh man, I visited my grandparents in texas around thanksgiving, and on the drive back home it was the same thing, you probably couldn't even see 15 feet infront of you without headlights, it was that bad. Definitely felt like I was in silent hill as well
  • Oh, and worst part about all this rain- my son's big gift this year was a trampoline.
  • Cold and snowy as fuck! I live in Canada, man! (For reference sake, I'm being somewhat facetious, it doesn't snow EVERYWHERE in Canada, just ask empire.)

Haha... Actually, it's warmed up the past week or so to about -2 C (-4 right now) . Was -20 for a few weeks before that.

Getting more snow dumped on us as I type, though.
  • Windy. Been raining the last few days.
  • It's going to be very unseasonable weather with a high of 60 and rainy with possible thunder storms. Highs are usually in the 20's this time of year in my area. I will be enjoying the warmth...

Whoa mama... So high of 60 is around 15 C for me? Damn... during winter?

20's would be around... -3-5? That's about what it is when it's warm around here.

I always wonder what it's like to live in a place that doesn't get a snowy winter 4-6 months a year....

Haha. My wife has wanted to move south ever since we've been married to escape the cold here. Minnesota is the state directly above Iowa (where I live) and it is much colder/snowier. I often wonder how Canadians can take it because I can only assume it's always freaking cold.

EDIT: typically Dec-Feb are the months snow will stick for a while. Had snow as early as October and late as May but rarely much accumulation or cold enough to stay on the ground more than a couple days

Yeah, well... I just moved out of the mountains, so there's a decent summer, but there's still a pretty sizeable winter.

This year we didn't get much snow or cold until the last week of november/start of december. Plummeted to -20-30 and snowy. I should post a picture looking out my window. There's a road that you can't see.... looks like a snowfield.

I get what you mean... sometimes I wonder how I deal with this shit, haha. But, I've lived with it my whole life so I'm used to a little snow.

    Picture update coming...
  • Definitely a white Christmas. In fact it snowed enough yesterday that they let me out of work 6 hours early--paid!
