So I indeed joined the Wii Homebrew/Nintendon't club with tbone's help

So as you guys may already know, with tbone's help, I was finally able to join the Wii Homebrew/Nintendon't club.    Now just like with my Everdrives, I can now have GameCube ISOs on an external drive (my wife's old Clickfree...it only has under 1/2 TB though so I only put 100 GC games that were either in my collection already, other blue chips, and a few I just thought looked interesting; I don't know if I'll ever have the patience to put all the games on a bigger external drive in the future though).  So now I don't need to worry about changing discs or risking them getting scratched (I do treat them with R-E-S-P-E-C-T though).  And I decided to also add to the SD card (what you use to put in the Homebrew Channel/Nintendon't/other apps on) emus for the TurboGrax-16 (I still hope to get a console someday), Intellivision, Colecovision, and Wii2600.  But I do have one big question regarding the Wii2600 one though.

How come there's no buttons for the left and right difficulty switches?  You do have them for the select, reset, and color/BW ones, but is there anyway you can assign buttons on the controller for the difficulty switches, or even use them at all?

  • Welcome to the club! I have homebrew/Nintendont on my WiiU and love it. One console to handle my GC/Wii/WiiU library through a single HDMI connection.
  • Can anyone answer my question on using the difficulty switches (if you can) on the Wii2600?

Have you thought about asking on Atari Age? They have a Nintendo Wii section on the forums.
