Carrie Fisher had heart attack on plane in critical condition

From what I have gleaned Carrie Fisher on a United Flight from London to LA sufferred a massive heart attack today and is on a ventilator. Big Star Wars fan but besides that fact I hope she ends up being ok. Didn't see this posted yet but thought I would share.

    Last AP update a few minutes ago from her brother said she was now stable.

    That's great. Just noticed the update a few minutes ago. Sounds more optimistic now of her pulling through and recovering.

    That'll all depend on how long her brain was without oxygen, but with some medical folks supposedly working on her on the plane hopefully it wasn't too bad.

    Those are terrible news. Glad to hear that she is stable now, at least.

    But if 2016 takes her, I dread 2016 will aim for Queen Lizzy next, just to end by killing an immortal. It will be a really sad day if that happens.

    I haven't seen Rogue One yet, but my father was telling me they used CGI to add scenes with a particular actor that passed away in the 1990s. Depending on what happens in Episode 8 and how large her role is in Episode 9 (if she is in it), that could be an option

    They'll need permission from her estate (most likely her mother, Debbie Reynolds; yes, she's still alive) to do that. Yeah, they did that with Peter Cushing for Rogue One. You can only do so much, though.

    Not as well known as Carrie Fisher here in the States but British author Richard Adams of "Watership Down" also passed today at 96, thought it was worth a small mention.

    I've noticed how there have been a few celebrities that are dying really young now. \

    Prince, Bowie, Alan Rickman, George Michael, Gene Wilder, the list could go on.

    Heartbreaking to see such talented people being taken away at such a young age.

    Gene Wilder's death really sucked, but 83 can't really be considered young, can it?
