I have a RGB AV Famicom, very similar setup, and my opinion is that $120 is definitely a bargain price.
Besides having original hardware and all the benefits that go with that, a RGB setup outputs analog. My meaning is that as technology in up-conversion improves, you will be able to continuously improve a RGB console on a digital display. You also have the option of using analog displays (obviously). Because units like the NES CE and AVS output digital video, you will never see an improvement in video quality. You'll have to buy another newer version of the console to get future improvements.

You're basically rolling the dice hoping to get 12.
