Favorite kind of synthesizer?

What is your favorite kind of synthesizer? Seems analog has a lot of favor these days for its 'warmth', and honestly I do prefer the 80s synth sounds much of the time. My actual favorite though is probably FM. Analog second. Digital third. There are some digital sounds that are no worse than the other two when in the hands of the right programmer, but as it goes, I often prefer the others out of the box. How about you guys?

Analog by a "long" shot, hell even just the Mini Moog being analog takes the win for for me.....Greatest synth sounds of all time.
