    I played this one to death in 99 because I was convinced there simply must be more areas/pokemon once you reach a high enough score. The old beta footage from IGN was such a tease. Finding this link, I had always just focused on the presence of Ekans, but I never noticed stuff like Pidgey on the ground or walking Snorlax that isn't in the final build. Most surprising was to learn that the planned Ghost Level was axed, the music had already been composed and is downright awesome!

    They need to find a way to make Snap Stations a thing again, like add it as a separate feature or save it to the system to export it or something. Just charge a one time fee of however much a smart card was and make a bit of money in the process; we get our pictures and they get money, it's a win win.

    I remember downloading the Japanese version and playing on my Dr. V64 about a month before the USA release. I still premember Professor Oak yelling "oooo-cheeee-nooooh!" on the menu screen.
