Your first post on Nintendo Age
Can anyone remember or find their first post on the site?
I was able to find mine and quote it.
I think it would be interesting to see what others first said when they joined the forums.

Hi! Im a nes collector but i also collect a ton of other games for other consoles!
Dang ive only been just over half a year here, it seems way longer.
Hi everyone! I wanted to introduce myself and do a shameless plug as well. I'm Eugenio and I have multiple retro systems (Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, Lynx, Jaguar, Intellivision II, Vectrex, GBA). I very recently got my very first Nintendo console, a NES-101 and I've started to build up my collection of games. I've really enjoyed what I've gotten so far and I've even been able to snatch a number of homebrew game as well.

Bye, thanks for stopping by!
I tried to check my "Threads started" but it didn't go back very far.
After looking, I did! My first post was a photo of me, winning a video game!
So I have been a member over at NESWorld for probably a year. Figured I'd join here because of your NWC Contest. I got #32, so I'll be honing my skills some more in the coming weeks. I'm right around the last place right now. 450k. Nice to meet you all, and thanks for this site.
My next post was asking about displaying posters and maps in one of those retail flip displays and where to find one. I now realize how much floor space they take up and haven't gotten one.
My collection is bigger and better than before!
Not a bad first post though actually!
I'm pretty sure the first thread I ever made was on 7/14/2013 asking if the 1998 E rated version of Link's Awakening (not to be confused with Link's Awakening DX) was either rare or valuable.

I have three USA models in used but like brand new condition with the plastic case, cardboard inserts, poster, manuals, silver mario sticker, 2 have the original batteries, and systems are in great condition, not modded at all of course except I replaced the screen on two of them. I have the Black, Clear, and Green systems. The Green is my original childhood one from 1996 and I've picked up the other two over the years. I can still remember the day I got it at Walmart and seeing the rows of every color, and my Father asking me which one I wanted. I can still picture those rows and since that day I always dreamed to have all five systems kept perfect in the box. I keep mine on a nice wooden shelf next to my Virtual Boy and boxed Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance Systems. I consider most of the value to be in the Play it Loud cardboard pieces as most people probably threw them away, even though they look absolutely awesome. I paid an average of $50 for all three of them which I consider to have been a steal. Someday I hope to get the Red and Yellow versions in complete condition to have all five. In my searches over the years the Yellow is the hardest to find complete in the box.
I've been haunting this site unregistered for a few days now, and finally decided to join up. I notice a lot from Tennessee so I thought you might like another to join the fray.
NES was the console that really hooked me into video games when I was a kid and over the years I have had small collections built up here and there, then as I got older sadly had to sell off about everything I had in games and consoles just to make ends meet, but I am slowly...and very slowly mind you, rebuilding my collections.
Anywooo, uh...so "Hi." and all that.
Heh lame intro, seems like forever ago. And I'll be damned if I didn't repeat that mess just last year. Meh. 10/10 I'd do it again.
Probably in the "Introduce Yourself" place?
I tried to check my "Threads started" but it didn't go back very far.
Here ya go!
Just a quick hello. I'm a 33 year old guy who played NES back when I was a little guy. Recently my son (he's 5) has shown an interest in playing "old Mario" (SMB1 & 3) so I've begun recreating my old NES library from when I was little. I've goofed around with roms over the years but they aren't the same.
Anyway, if anybody is in the Kirkland Lake area (Timmins, Cochrane, Sudbury, North Bay, etc) and wants to help me rebuild a collection send me a note.
I want to buy the top grey part, that usually ends up getting yellow. Does not need the flip door, but I would like it to be in good condition. PM with price, paypal money in hand.

Hey what does it mean if games require the "Cart Up" position??
Back on Mar 29, 2011 I was looking for help on an NES lot purchase I was making so just jumped in
I might have also asked if it would have been wise to open it, take out the battery and then close it, or simply keep it unopened.
Whatever the consensus, I still haven't been able to open the thing. I just can't bring myself to open a sealed collectible.
Hi, I'm Donald aka the Goldeneye Gamer. This is sort of a nickname given to me after constantly playing N64 Goldeneye 007 and beating my colleagues almost every time. Unlike most I've met who are interested in this subject, I'm a younger gamer almost out of highschool who loves all older games from the 2600 to certain PS2 Games. Though I'm young compared to the people who grew up with these games, I have a decent knowledge of a majority of Atari 2600, Nes, Genesis, and N64 Games and have played at least half of them more than once. I love playing all systems, and play atleast one from each of my systems every day. I'm always going to local yard sales hoping to find more, though rarely depend on ebay from bad experiences in the past. I greatly look forward to joining these forums, helping others out, possibly buying games from some people, and expanding my knowledge of older games. As for my collection, I currently have 72 Atari 2600 games with most of the manuals and the system, an NES with 25 games, a Genesis with 18 games (a few in box), a dozen N64 Games with the system, a gameboy origenal, color, and advanced with 29 games overall, a PS2 with 19 games, and a few ds games from when I was younger. Again, I really look forward to this site and all it has to offer, and I hope I can become one of the more habitual members of the forums.
I've gotten so many more games since then, to think I didn't even own a single "origenal" xbox game.
"When I was a kid, I didn't know what the multi out did. I always assumed consoles only used RF output. It wasn't until years later I learned the SNES could output composite or S-Video. "

I got the sense I dropped a Bomb when I included pics of just my doubles and announced that I had a 100% CIB SNES set. That thread got a LOT of attention.
Just saying hello! Fantastic site and community here! I'm a fellow NES/SNES guru, and this looks like the perfect place to share my obsession; cheers!

I remember there being a minor commotion or something.
Edit:
A quick search and I have found it.
