The Revo K101+
It's been around for at least a year, but I still see very little about the Revo K101+ on the interwebs. I bought one some months ago and have been very happy with it.
Prices have inflated in a huge way on the Revo on eBay and Amazon when you can still buy it at the launch price on official retail sites like K1GBASP and DragonBox.de. Anyone know why? I also don't see any used Revo's for sale anywhere.
The Revo has great features as good or better than the GBA and EZ Flash IV, in some cases. It even supports RTC for Pokemon (and other games)! Why are modified GBAs so much more popular when the Revo costs half as much?
Did a small number of mediocre or negative reviews cause the Revo to stall? Is the Revo more popular outside the US?
What are your thoughts?

How does this beat a modded PSP in terms of price and emulation?
It doesn't man you already know that answer to that question!
why buy a clone when you can buy NTR-001 on ebay for like less than $10 shipped , to play GBA on an authentic Nintendo console, of course at $10 shipped it will have broken hinges, but you can remove the top half and have a one screen NTR-001. it does look cool though
Compared to a NTR-001:
Good: thinner, lighter, comes in cool colors, better display, higher quality speaker, simple construction, common battery type (Nokia), USB charging, and composite video out
Bad: Buttons feel a little clunky (does not affect gameplay, though), not as solidly built (a little creaking), mono speaker, limited acessories (but does have a standard GBA ext port)
Why pay hundreds of dollars for one cartridge when you can have an Everdrive with all the games ever made for the system on it for less? Cause people want original hardware.
It's interesting you mention that people want original hardware, because I thought most of the upgraded GBAs had Chinese displays. I could be wrong, tho.

Fantastic question! I was playing my PSP with gPSP for a very long time before I bought a Revo. gPSP has many great features that you may not find on the Revo and vice versa. The Revo has support for auto-fire mode, cheats, and game guides. However, I prefer the Revo because the Revo's LCD is much more similar to a GBA than a PSP display, and this means that you get larger pixels (a good thing in this situation).
Also, the interface for browsing ROMs is very well done. You get mini icons, custom wallpaper, and title screen/gameplay sample photos pre-installed for the whole GBA library. Also, the Revo can get you from powered-off to playing your ROM faster than a PSP.
In terms of price, I think they are about the same. It really depends on which PSP model you want and what condition you want it in. The PSP Go is not good for games that need quick/precise input and it's relatively expensive. Then there's the whole matter of installing CFW and gPSP, but it's a simple process for those willing to give it a try.
If you mostly play GBA games on the go, if you have a lot of GBA cartridges, if you're handing the gaming off to a child or non-gamer, or if you want simpler video-out, I'd go with a Revo. Otherwise, the PSP is a better option.
I don't think the Revo is perfect, but I wonder if it's just a matter of awareness that explains it's anonymity.
