Anyone know where this BA pic of Bowser is from?

Once, when I was working at TRU, the Nintendo rep was at the store clearing out a bunch of outdated signage and merch from the store.  At the end of her massacare, she wound up having a shopping cart full of ripped up signs, game pamphlets, cardboard cutouts, etc.  Being the savy little troll that I was at the time, I told her not to worry about the cart and I would bring it in the back to throw everything out for her.  Needless to say, when I got to the back I sorted through every little scrap of paper and kept everything that was salvagable...one such item was this laminated picture of bowser, which is obviously a small part of a larger poster.  Has anyone seen what poster this goes to before or knows what game they were promoting?  I'm figuring it was probably Super Smash Bros, but all I know is that Bowser looks nuts and I'd love to see the rest of the sign.

    My first thought when I saw that was Smash Bros., but that might not have been a sign specifically for that game. I still have some signs from when I worked at TRU (and we didn't have a Nintendo rep to come take our stuff back - they just shipped it to us and relied on us to take it down and "destroy" it, luckily), and a couple of them are just generic signs with a bunch of Nintendo characters on them. One is large and laminated, like yours, and has Kirby, Donkey Kong, Bowser from Super Mario RPG, regular generic Mario, etc., so I wouldn't be surprised if this came from a "collage" sign like that. Every poster I have from Nintendo that promoted a specific game was not laminated, either, if that helps (but I'm talking about a time period from 98-2001, so I don't know about anything after that).

    It almost looks like one of the reflective graphics they have over the cases at Play N' Trade.

    Ah, good thoughts so far, thanks guys...what always drove me nuts was trying to figure what the heck the pink thing is left and the red thing near his back. The red looks like flag tops of a tower, but that would mean the tower was upside down.



    PS: Everyone wants those darn sheets, I should auction them off.

    I almost remember a 2nd set of those sheets or ones like them still in the package somewhere in the house...maybe I should look around a bit.image
