Do they say nintendo on the plug. If so how much do you want.
  • yeah.. I might be interested also Limbo.. How much are you looking to get? (as long as a doesn't buy them all) image

I was also wondering what everyone who has upgraded to an HDTV is doing.. S-video looks ok, but the more content I see in 1080p, the less I want to play anything in 480i. I guess that's just the way it goes. We need HDMI SNESes!
  • Whoopsie, is SVHS the same as Svideo?  If not, I apologize.

SVHS not sure about that. Do you have anymore pictures?

  • Yeah, the term is used interchangeably. SVHS became popular in the early 90's for having nearly double the resolution of regular NTSC VCRs and typically had S-Video outputs. It's funny to see it printed on a package though.

I'd still be interested Limbo. How much are you looking to sell it for? I already have a few 3rd party sets, so I'd probably just buy it to keep with my other unopened SNES stuff. image
  • Is there a difference in the picture quality of nintendo brand s-video cable and a third party one?
  • To be honest, I don't think so, but who knows. I used to sell both 3rd party and Nintendo brand many years ago and have used both on the same Sony Wega 27" tv and both sets of cables looked great to me. I forgot to save a Nintendo brand set for myself. You can also use [most] S-video cables designed for the N64, SNES, & Gamecube interchangeably. There was only one brand of N64 Svideo cable that didn't work on the SNES without a tiny solder modification. Interact I believe it was.
  • I was figuring $16 shipped to the US, let me know if anyone's interested.
  • No offense Otto, but I'll have to take a pass. Good luck with your sales though.
  • I'll gonna pass too sorry.
  • If you are desperate to sell. I would be interested in 1 at $10 (shipped the slowest/cheapest rate). If that's too low for you, I'll understand.
