EZ Flash IV Reliability

I've had an EZF4 for a long time and the battery still reads 3V. Before I invest time on a RPG, would you guys say that the EZF4 is reliable enough to trust with save games?

    Yes. Doesn't yours automatically backup saves to the SD card when you power-cycle?

    Yes. It does move the save data to the SD card, but I was concerned with whether or not that data could reliably be used again after it's on the sd card.

    It loads the SRAM file from the SD card when you play its associated game again.
