I finally got a full set of North American Virtual Boy games (which I am pretty sure there is a Nintendo Age Award for). I was going for a complete in box set, however I am happy with this for now.
Hopefully this isn't too stupid of a question but for the mame arcade cabinet award, should just the main menu of mame be shown with the arcade cabinet running? Just curious because I was scrolling through my phone and I have 2 pictures of my cabinet. One has 1944 Loop Master running and the other was a picture of the rewired buttons lit up with the computer desktop in the background.
Here it is... my collecting jewel of 2016! It took me a few years (here's my original WTB thread: http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?StartRow=1&catid=56&threadid=124263), but I am done! Thanks to everyone who helped out by selling me games, giving advice, and pointing me to resources! Now, on to collecting the more rare and odd carts for NES... and unlicensed carts.
May I have the import 25+ award please? If you guys need me to snap some pics, I can, but I think everyone has seen enough over the years that it isn't necessary.
Hey quick question, there seems to be an award for having a gaming related tattoo... I have a tattoo of a Black Mage from Final Fantasy. Do I just have to post a photo?

Yep that should be fine I imagine, I saw some other people do that.
Ayyyyy back for more! I "modded" my NES last night in the hopes that I'd be able to play my games without any more issues by disconnecting the lockout pin, and repairing the stock 72 pin connector (the "mod" being the former). Here's a pic! It's a bit blurry but hopefully it will do.
Happily, my NES does indeed work much better now! Crazy!
I didn't see specifics on the award criteria for kiosks. I obviously don't have the TV or original system, but I have something. I plan to eventually update it with a monitor and Wii U, just not the originals that came with it (unless I get really lucky down the road).
Sent an email to my local arcade who has had this game for about ten years, previously being at a skating rink before that when I was very young. Got a response back the other day and just got it today. Arcade cabinet award?

I also recently completed my 64DD CIB set, but some of the games are still back in America, so I can't provide photos of them all right now.
Does the NES cart-only set award require Stadium Events, which has its own award? If not, I'd qualify
I had always thought it did and the two awards went hand in hand, but I notice there are a few members that have the NES award but no SE award.

So is this enough for the award?
