Lol i actually have never seen a single brand other than totinos.....im sure eveyone is in the same boat here in terms of eating them. We all ate them right away correct? You know so the roof of your mouth was sore for 2 days. Could hardly take thr wait of them cooking let alone letting them cool
Either you guys have remarkably good typing skills for a bunch of 6 and 7 year-olds, or you're way too old to be eating anti-food like pizza rolls lol.
I'll get to craving pizza, and I'll buy one and eat the whole damn thing. Then I'll be like "Ugh, why did I do that?". I swear I'll never do it again, and then a month later I do.

Saw a different brand in a gas station just a little before you posted this.
Other brands simply don't have the presence of mind.
There's actually dirty savages warming up frozen pizza rolls in microwaves?
I do it all the time. At worst, a few of them will unevenly heat, and you'll be left with either a crunchy shell or a frozen interior. The latter is definitely the worst. XD
Oh easy, you gotta master the ol' pizza roll microwave technique. Take a paper plate, lay a paper towel on it, then line up 12-15 pizza rolls in a pretty circle - all sitting close to the edge. Then, half way through flip them so the outer edges are now inner edges. Once they start bursting out the seams with pizza delicious-ness, that's usually my sign they're ready to burn my tongue!
However, now that I'm hearing of the toaster oven approach, I'm intrigued. I have a decent one collecting dust in storage...hmm...they certainly are crunchier and tastier out of the ol' fashioned oven...
Once you use a toaster over, you will never go back to a microwave when ever it's possible.
Truth.
x3. It changed my life. It changed everything.
Exactly. I first used a toaster oven to heat up a sandwich at work.
I know it's nothing but a tiny version of a regular oven and the results would seem obvious but I had no clue how use I managed to get to the poor, uneven heating quality of all microwaves and, seriously, what's the deal with bread getting soggy?! Why must we settle for this?
Personally, I have to be more than a little hungry to ccept that type of reheating. Of course, when it cones to soups, there's nothingnerong with the microwave. I've found no benefit reheating that on a stove and ramen is only slightly better.

So a little update I went to the only place within 25 miles that had Michelina's pizza snacks but unfortunately they are not what I was hoping for. They are the quick snack version which come in a blue box meant for a microwave. I took them out to use the toaster oven and they are pretty much the same crust as totinos but they are only half the size of a totions roll. They did cook fast and are a little bit tastier but still not as good as the ones I had years ago. Maybe its because they were the microwave package version? But that's the only ones this store carried so I can't compare to Michelina's other styles. Also if anyone else is looking for them they are not near the other pizza bites theyre with the tv dinners for whatever reason. I searched for 20mins and asked 2 employees before I found them. No wonder no one ever eats them. Anyway the hunt continues!
The recipe might just be drastically changed from what you remember. All of our familiar snacks have changed over time. Cadbury Creme Egg was one of the most noticable for me. Or the first time I opened Juicy Fruit gum to find it was suddenly yellow.
I never could understand the whole pizza role thing. If I want something that tastes like a pizza, I'll go buy a pizza. Pizza rolls seem like they are for children. Not trying to put anyone down, but they taste gross wether you bake them or not. Microwaved pizza rolls taste just a smidge better than jail food but that's it. I'm more of a chicken nuggets shaped like dinosaurs kinda guy myself.

I'm going to buy some beer with it next time.

The only use for a toaster for me is to toast things.
