I really need to sit down and finish one of the games from this series. I have been into them since the original on the snes but can never make it to the end playing them. I got really far in Vesperia but then there is always something about them that doesn't give me the urge to finish them. They are good but not great games usually. I should finish Vesperia now lol.
I know the last couple of dungeons are pains in the ass a lot of the time. The payoff of beating the final boss has made the games worth chugging along through though!
Just had a little scare. Gamestop canceled my collectors edition pre order because of a payment issue. I had accidently selected an expired card when ordering and never saw the email about it. Tried to get them to run my current card or use paypal but the order was already canceled!
Got the email last night so i popped online and of coarse its sold out everywhere. Checked local area gamestops for in store stock and one showed available at the mall like 20 miles away. Only one within 100 miles that showed 1 in stock so i sent in my hold request. Got an email this morning saying they were out of stock and couldnt fulfill the request
Mopey and solemn i started checking ebay and of coarse everyone has em jacked up $100 over msrp. Submit a best offer to one guy and go and check my email again and what do i see? "Your item is ready for pickup at Gamestop!"
I immediately picked up the phone and called them and they said they had it on hold! I guess i had accidently put in 2 requests by clicking the button twice. she also said that 5 other people had tried to put it on hold after i did so im lucky i requested when i did!
Really glad i didnt miss out! This collectors edition seems to be the most limited out of all the ones they've done for the Tales series so far at only 10,000 units. Heading down on my lunch break to pick up so heres hoping someone doesnt go down and try and take my shit before i get there!

Seems that the customer who pre-ordered never came by to pick it up and the employees left it there. The collector edition wasn't even registered in their database so apparently there where no collector editions anywhere. Luckily my friend spots the collector's edition sitting high top on display where no one bothers to look. I asked for the price but it was 100$ which I didn't have. After that a miracle happened in which Gamestop lowered the price to $60 days later. After all that I went quickly to pick it up and bought it, heck even the manager told me he didn't know why it was still there! He even asked me if I knew the price of the item.
Dang! Thats pretty awesome! And a great price! I paid full price for all of em cuz i always jumped on pre orders when they became available! Which was why i was so bummed to lose the pre order this time around! My collection wouldnt be complete without it gotta have my Tales!

Wait a minute.... Where's Dawn of a new world on Wii? I know you have Chronicles but it's not complete considering you have symphonia on the gamecube but not it's sequel on the Wii. Explain youself mister or Tales Cat is going to have a fit!

Ended up getting a few years later in a trade. Not super minty but im still glad to own it!

Yes it's japanese exclusive spin off. The only japanese tales game is the PS1 Phantasia, luckily this has a an english patch which I should get on that soon.

Funny story... I started playing xillia 2 but they day I started an earthquake occured and stopped playing cuz of that.
Legendia is the worst for the same reason. I don't think Namco/Bandai made that one though.
