Got to beebop and rocksteady without losing a life and still having 2/3 of my first life. Damn those yellow disc throwing foot soldiers. Well Rocksteady this time just wouldnt cooperate and I lost both lives at the boss. They are truly the hurdle in this game. Slash and beebop(the two middle bosses) are harder than super krang and super shredder. Just nuts.
TMNT updated. Got to Shredder, but he whooped me. Took a pic of the Stage screen before the fight just in case.
I beat Bebop and Rocksteady with only taking one hit this time, but those damn yellow foot soldiers with the death frisbees straight up killed me prior to that fight.
Gonna see if I can post a score for Mario Kart today. Not sure how I'll do since I'm horribad at racing, but we'll see! I did better than I expected at Turtles, so here's hoping!

Makes sense. Yeah let's call my last post for Turtles my score posting. I have gotten to level 5 under the conditions provided, and I don't know that I'll make it any further before the end of the month. I'll try to make it more clear when I am updating a score.
I updated my Mario times a bit too. I'm probably close to being done, but I want to try a bit more on Koopa Beach and maybe try to get sub 56 on Vanilla Lake (came so close).
Updated my post with scores on the front page. Hoping I get time to go back to these again, as I feel I can do a bit better (particularly on TMNT) but we shall see.
Yeah, I've played some Ninja Turtles in my day. This one is my favorite by far. I usually play for points, but going for progress proved to be a different kind of challenge, so it was quite fun.
I think if I can get a good run where the yellow disc-throwing foot soldiers don't completley dog pile me, I can get to Shredder without dying. Beating Shredders is a whole 'nother story. That green fireball ends runs fast. For some reason I didn't realize it took a full life each time it hits, and I went from 5 lives in reserve, to 2 without realizing it(which is why my progress pic is the stage screen).
The yellow guys will make quick work of you if you aren't careful. The key is to not advance the screen so you don't have the other piss ant foot soldiers getting in your way. Hit them quickly and toss them for an easy kill. If you try to fight them normally, you'll have a hard time as they can take more of a beating than the regular guys.
