Love the display man! I've always loved Nintendo controllers too (namely the N64, Gamecube and Wii variations) so it's cool to see them displayed alongside the games and consoles. Congrats!
Awesome! I'm still around 200 left. The double packs are the insanity of the wii. I feel like the wii will have 2 badges, like the NES. Complete w/ Double Packs and Complete w/o. How far along are you with the Cardboard cased games? It has been a fun subset I go to when feeling burnt out.
Congrats dude, I am no where near complete (around 500). Been kind of taking the slow burn approach, probably going to regret it too. Thanks for the info.

By cardboard cases are taking about the outer sleeves, like Medevil Games?
Yeah, the comment section of the IGN article was pretty entertaining, but after a while I felt like my IQ was dropping. I guess I can't stand people who don't know anything about video games trying to talk about video games.
Awesome, you're a regular celebrity! PS great video and nice intro, are you an animator?
Ha, I can't walk down the street without handing off autographs, it's getting ridiculous. (I begrudging except my 30 seconds of internet fame, people will forget about it by tomorrow, no worries).
Thanks, I can’t take credit for the intro. I was in a rush and found a cool looking premade template.

Awesome collection, Twizer! I need to keep this thread handy for reference. I came across Titanic Mystery at a thrift store a few weeks ago and passed on it. If I knew it was rarer title, I would've been more inclined to pick it up.
"What makes the collection even more impressive is NintendoTwizer has only been putting it together since late 2015, having sold his first modest collection of more than 100 games earlier that year to help build a new house. "
It was more than 100 games, so I guess that's acurate.

Ha, the way it's wrote was confusing. I sold my collecton of nearly 6k games (a modest 100 of which were Wii) to build a new house. I guess that works.
Nice collection. I like to try and pick up obscure games for different consoles. Normally JRPGs cause I enjoy them. Haven't got any of your rare games. But I do have 3 UK games that never came out in the US, how rare they are I have no idea.

Meh, Kotaku writing is typically poor. Either way, very cool to see your collection featured on such a popular site.
That's amazing! Not to derail the thread at all, but I do wonder, how many others have "complete" video game collections? Any one have a complete NES, SNES, Genesis, etc. collection? A complete NES collection from what I hear is all but impossible, but if you remove games that were not commercially available, then certainly a few people have such complete collections...
and uh, how do people find room for all these games
So congrats, and have you played through all your games?
I thought about doing this for the Wii U, as there is a much smaller sample size to work with. lol
Can you tell me the three (3) games you speak of?...."My list counts all unique games for the system. Includes the three Spanish "Slang" NTSC released games."

The Slang releases are: El Chavo, Atrevete Sonar, Lucha Libre.
What are those bases under the wii remotes. It looks like the wii remotes are standing on a matching rubber pad. Did those rubber pads/bases actually come with those remotes in the front line and the gold one in the back row? I've never seen those before, can you do a close up pic of the pads/bases that the remote stands on.

I did a poll a while ago asking how many people have completed sets. Of course it won't account for everyone on the site, and everyone on the site doesn't account for collectors as a whole, but it gives you an idea of it anyway http://nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=5&threadid=168248

Can you sign a Wii game for me? It'll be worth boatloads!
Edit: Bah, you beat me with the autograph joke by 15 seconds

It will cost you, I take payments in the form of NES games.

Fahey wrote it though, and he's more into toys and eating nasty crap.

Great photos. Now that is an awesome collection to show off. Those shelves are always the best.
Go after the Wii not for resales, now that would be a challenge.
