My cousin does. He played Starcraft competitively for years, and now he playes Heroes of the Storm. It was awesome because I'd get free Monsters whenever I'd come over his house, since the company sponsored him. >_>
Crazy, it's weird to think that when I was young and thought it would cool to get paid to play video games and now kids can say that as an answer to what they want to do with their lives.
Yeah, it's crazy. I used to play Starcraft competitively as well, back when I was like... 13. I'm almost 26 now, haha. Then I found meteorology, and promptly let all of that go.
But yeah, professional gaming is a surprisingly lucrative endeavor for anyone who wants to pursue it. I just feel like it sucks the fun out of games, which is really off-putting.
You kidding me? This whole forum is run and made up of evil resellers and store owners who bath themselves in the money, tears, and sorrow of the "true" and more deserving collectors out there. (sarcasm)
Not all of us! Some of us are evil shelf collectors who keep games out of the hands of "true" collectors looking for playable copies.
