I have a PC pad with diagonal buttons and it's fine for NES games. Just have the bottom button ("A" on the 360 pad) be for jumping and the top button ("X") be for running, lay your thumb over them, and you're all set.

I have a PC pad with diagonal buttons and it's fine for NES games. Just have the bottom button ("A" on the 360 pad) be for jumping and the top button ("X") be for running, lay your thumb over them, and you're all set.
I can't do it man....The D-Pad is what is killing me now...I have to press up like 5 times to go up until a pipe.
Alright 200k just beat angry sun stage...Should be able to get the 300k first try.

If it makes you feel better, I struggled to even get participation playing on my real NES. It took me almost all day Sunday. I'm the worst at this game.
