I still don't think I'm going to hit the million. I do great at 1-1 and 1-2 but keep screwing up at the world 2 castle. I hate the floaty controls. Go where I freaking tell you,don't just float right in their face and lose your tail power up. Ugh.

The SNES port on Super Mario All Stars controls so, so much better than this.
People rave about the controls being the best but I disagree. You can build speed up quick but you can't slow down as quick. I've had several runs end that way. Too much sliding.
i did manage 484k on stage one. and i enjoyed every second of that 2+ hour run

I too really enjoy the game. Even point farming I find myself sitting there just humming along to the music and having a good time overall.
same here. maybe im simple but finding the hot spots and getting the most out of them is pretty fun to me. i really like jumping on the turtles over and over lol.

I don't hate SMB 3 at all. I'm just not a big fan though and apparently I suck at point pressing the game. I got SMB 3 brand new back in the day and even then it was the least played game out of all the ones I had at the time.
Objectively it's a high quality game,but it just doesn't appeal to me that much and I just can't put my finger on it.
