At 6 foot 7 I think I can pull that off. Wearing a cup that day though
Last night the kids were gone and my buddy came over to hang out with me and my wife. He saw my dad's Atari 2600 and really wanted to play. I've had it here for a couple months now but never took the time to clean it up or try it out. So at my friends urging I hooked it up and popped in Combat. Worked like a champ with no issues and no cleaning done to it. This machine hasn't been powered up since around 1989 my best guess. It was really cool that it just turned on and worked like it was no big deal. And it was a lot of fun playing the first video game system I ever played in my life with the original carts from back then too. Besides Combat we played Space Invaders, Asteroids, Missle Command, Demon Attack, Circus Atari and Night Driver. It was way more fun than I expected it to be.
So who do you guys think is going to get post 5k? With all those post related sacrifices I'm pretty sure Joel's coming back from the dead to steal this one.
thanks for the videos guys, but where we live we only have limited satilite wifi, and videos kill my data on my phone. I'll probably just end up playing ice hockey.
Visit your local library! No excuses!
can't, both my parents work full time and my brother can only drive with one of my parents in the car.
so walk! How far is it?
but it's like an hour and a half walk from my house.
Holy moly! Wow...
but it's like a 15 minute drive. We live in the country but close enough to a semi big city.
so what you're saying is you walk slow?
nah, Google maps says it's 1 and a half hour walk, as I've never attempted to walk all the way there.
A while ago there used to be a search in google maps from the USA to France and it actually said to swim across and it estimated the time. I forgot what the search was, but it was funny.
probably take about the same amount of time as swimming through this quote train
Last stop. This post.
I wonder if we can make it so long that it crashes NA, and the post count on this thread get's restarted at zero. I'd still be in!
Do you guys prefer beer in a green bottle or a brown bottle?
For some reason I like clear or green bottle beers on a hot ass Texas summer day. Maybe it's visual. I also prefer Mexican beers when it's hot. The rest of the time brown bottles are fine. Can't tell the difference in taste.

If Joel came out of nowhere and got the 5000th post I think the whole site would implode
If that happened Joel would instantly become my hero.
Yay, I have Friday off this week!
Here you go. You can get started here. Thank me later.
