Thanks! My only beef with this run it that it is not a no death run. I died on the turrets where all the Moai heads are. I ended up not killing most of the Moai heads once I died since a stock ship is pretty sitting duck in that area. I think I missed 5,so my score could've been a little higher. I did get 10k for the snake thankfully. Whew....what a relief,but....I can't say I've truly mastered this game until I no death all three loops.

You sound like me the first time I hit the Double Dragon 2 "perfect score" mark and I was disappointed that I lost one life during my run. I've done it about a dozen times since, but I still haven't had a no death perfect game.

I started playing Double Dragon 2 tonight. Ugh. I do not know how to play this. I can't pull off the cyclone kick consistently. Enemies duck almost everything that I throw at them, including the aforementioned cyclone kick. I think that I prefer how the first Double Dragon plays, but I might just need more practice.
Stupid pause button double paused a couple times. I didn't kill anything as you can see. I played this for several hours, instead of BotW. Worth it? TBD!

My skills must be declining, this will be the first contest I've never been able to achieve "participation."

I have never been so excited to post a qualifying participation score before!
Suppose I publically groaned too soon.
Trying to at least post participation scores until I can get my hands later on in the season Of games I'm decent at.
Each week I drool at the expertise people display at NES in these contests. This week was no exception.
1 million points in this game is unimaginable.
This was the only time I managed to reach Stage 3. (Damn fire things surprised the crap out of me).
