  • @Brock. Although I acknowledge you in that last qoute, it was not directed specifically at you. It was for everyone.

I know your familiar with this game and a strong player. So Im afraid that if town desides on a strategy to early and your a wolf, then were like lames being led to slaughter. Especially since a wolf could very easily hid there vote against a townie. Thats why I asked those who voted me for reasoning.
  • Bronty, would you mind explaining your vote change?
  • Fox what are your thoughts id like to hear more from you. What do u think of bert and pimp?

For the town I dont understand why anyone town would want to do this, and give the wolves one up. Would it not be better to take a shot in the dark? At least the town has a chance at nailing a wolf. And if the wolves really want me gone, theyll take me out in the night.

Lynching any one of us is a shot in the dark.  Including you.  Again, you're not cleared by just claiming town

Well when I get voted out and my roll card says town and another town gets eliminated tonight, and were down two town with no leads day two. Ill be back for one last post and it will say.

    Told yall.

Someone should gather the statistics of how many people made this exact same post over the last 10 games

No one can be cleared by saying they're town or telling everyone they'll sorry.  That's just the cruel nature of the game.  I'm not saying you're a wolf, but I'm not saying your town either

    This

I know Bronty doesn't have all the time he wants, but such a change could definitely use an explanation, especially if it leads to pimp getting killed.

Pimp might sound a little wolfy with this "You're lynching a townie" talk indeed but I'm not entirely convinced on who to vote for yet.
  • @Brock when have I ever made a claim like that which was untrue?

    Unvote: alakhira

    Vote: Bert

Im changing my vote in hopes of evening votes out so that I can hopefully stay in the game.
  • Real quick remind me what the cases against pimp and alakhira are again

catching up, someone post after me so I can post again
  • There ya go
  • The only thing anyone had against alikhira was that they had not posted at all for a day (I'll day) or two.
  • @Brock

Yeah I love beat em ups and it is decent, it even has a random shmup level.  But I beat it for the contest a couple years back and it was kind of a slog.  The stages are way too long and it wears out its welcome pretty quick.

    Anyways

    @Gloves + NED

I don't trust Dra600n since he is asking how things benefit the wolves.  He is not asking how things benefit the town.  Seems like a scum slip.

I said I like King.  I'll go ahead and add Gloves list, he is new but he seems open with his thoughts.

Already said I didn't like Bert's comments from his push on Behemos.

As for pimp, I don't understand what the case is on him exactly.  Alakhira, he wasn't active the first day or so, neither were generic, bronty, fluffy, golden and prob a few others.  He is posting now but hasn't directly commented on anyone or anything.  Hmmm let's do something about that.

    @alakhira

I'm still bummed out that DnD is on hiatus, it was just getting good.  You said you are unsure about pimp.  Tell us your thoughts on other players.

    UNVOTE: ne$_pimp

    VOTE: Bert
  • Thoughts on anyone the first day is like shooting arrows in the dark. My vote will be on an inactive player if I vote.

Who has been the most inactive player?

Please. Everyone knows that a townie is getting lynched today, like every first game day. THAT is beneficial to the wolves. Again, a wolf in fox fur. Just like a few games ago, you're just trying to stir the pot to throw confusion about.  You're pretty readable everytime you're a wolf.

I still think we need to figure out the best way to not have the lynch manipulated. Dragoon seems a little off. He loves nit picking and putting in his 2 cents in but im not seeing a whole bunch from him. People are being a little hard on pimp currently imo. He made similar style thoughts in his previous werewolf game and im not much on him being wolfish too much currently. I would love to hear more from generic, but i think he may be wanting to lay low after some of the heat he got. Brock has some good thoughts and agree mostly with what hes been saying.

Day 1 is boring and nothing but wild speculation, and the same old conversation is happening. A lot of circular talking and logic, someone eventually says something convincing enough, then a townie gets lynched. What's the point? Some people insist a random lynching based on nothing is a good idea. Less townies = what wolves want, so everyone does their work for them while Fox causing nothing but misdirection and false accusations.

    UNVOTE: nespimp

That was supposed to be Alekx that I voted for for using pre-game banter to throw a vote against me. Then Alekx claimed he used a RNG.

So, if you ask me, my top suspects are Alekx and Fox.
  • Sure thoughts first day are always like that. But there does seem to be some ganging up. Jmnarnes are you up for an inactive lynch?

First of all, I'm in favor of a day one lynch, in general , as lunches are the only tool we have to fight wolves.    Yeah odds of getting one day one are low, but I've never been in favor of giving them the first attack because if we don't try and lynch a wolf, they effectively are getting a free night kill.

since I was the only generic vote, voting for him was useless, hence the unvote.   And my thoughts on him are not based on much and may change anyways.

Vote for pimp was just due to me not liking his response, and him having votes already.    He iirc basically stated he was town, and then when it was pointed out that statement means nothing right now, he just repeated the statement.     If he is town, then I need a more logical analysis from him in how he plays the game.     If he is a wolf, hang im high.    So, he seemed like the best target.

  • @fox There is no case against pimp (or anyone else as far as I'm concerned). He had two votes, so when I moved to get someone into a tie with Bert, he was the obvious choice

@Pimp - well you have only played one game, and you were town. If you are playing as a wolf you owe it to your team to lie about being a wolf. All's fair in love and werewolf and all that

I would say that there is a a case now for pimp as he is repeating the same defence over and over again (and it's not even a good defense either)
  • Yeah I haven't played this werewolf game many times but I would like to play honestly (like I did last time and with BB). So if folks think I sound like a broken record its because I don't have anything else to add to my claim. What else can I really do, if folks don't want to believe me they wont. If anyone has any questions for me fire away, I'm an open book. If the town wants me gone they will vote me off and find out, I was truthful. All I can do is try to tell you guys a vote for me will be a waste and wont turn up anything, if you don't believe me then what else can I really say.

Perhaps I'm talking to much and its got the wolves fired up, or town folk confused. Ill shut up and be less active if that's what it takes to stay in the game. I just started and would really like to give this game another shot. I really don't know what else I can say or offer to those who doubt me. So let the votes fall where they may, I did my best to direct them at another target who could be a potential wolf.

  • wtf. I better not get the boot cuz of this nonsense.
  • Interesting, so Bert is one vote away from a lynch. Initially I only voted for pimp to even things out and get the heat off of me (heat caused by my initial inactivity). Since then I've not been impressed with pimp's reasoning and am okay with leaving my vote here.

However, where is Bert?! Silent all of a sudden. He could be a wolf making amateur slip ups and the other wolves have chimed in to get him to clam up. If he were town I would have expected him to try and defend himself by this point with there being only one more vote needed to get him.

I know some folks picked up on suspicious banter from him. Can a clearer case (via quotes or paraphrases) be made right now against Bert? I'm willing to change my vote and get this lynch on if I could get a recap of why others have willing to vote him. I'll admit I've only skimmed his posts and need to go back and investigate now but this is close and I'm willing to cast the killing vote if there is enough suspicion there!
  • Come on boys, you know I'm just pissin around......Sorry Teddy Marfs.
  • So to make sure we are all on same page 15 people have voted 7 on bert I think I saw. So if anyone that has voted unvotes without revoting I believe that kills bert and anyone switching to bert kills him or any new person voting for him kills him.

With the pimp an bert thing right now I'd have to go back and look at the bert side more, but after facing the hot seat with pimp last game in castlevania, he seems to be playing the same kind of way to defend himself so I'm more leaning hes with us than against us right now. Right now being the key word here as opinion can change with facts, but based off reaction I feel like he's on our side, and I know I might be in the minority with this but just my gut feeling right now.

Anyone else have anything to weigh in on the two and how people have choosen sides.

Lynching one of them (bert or pimp) will begin the paper trail though, that brock termed before, and may help our roles figure out who to look into.

Brock i'll pay you the 25 cents for using paper trail later.
  • I voted Bert to tie it up between Bert and Pimp. I suspected Bert before and still do (his silence is concerning me, mind), but my primary reason for putting that vote in was to initiate Brock's plan of getting a tie, and seeing what happens.
  • Bert posted earlier today in a different thread at 6:53:08 PM. So he's been around, so that's not in his favor... though maybe that's his only post for today. Deliberating if we should see what one more day brings or change my vote.

Possibly. I think we need to be careful as I don't want us to lynch a person with an ability that will help us find/protect from wolves but if they're not playing I don't see how they're helping and we may gain some info from that. They could also be using a wolf tactic of trying to lay low. It's why I threw out generic and Alakhira earlier and both responded very quickly. I'd be looking at doner now. Has he done anything today?

  • doner did say he would be in china till Wednesday with shitty reception so didn't check to see when he last logged on
