SNES games with special chips on an SFC?

I have a super famicom system, and many SNES games. I need to know how I can play SNES games with special chips (FX, FX2, SDD1, etc) on a Super Famicom (SFC) system. The cartridges on SNES games have 2 extra pins on each side of the main connector, and every converter I have seen doesn't have this.

any ideas?

  • I do believe there is a converter that does have the extra pins, let me see if I cant find out what it is

Pro Action Replay MK3 is what you will need

  • ^ Actually, I believe either the Pro Action Replay 2 or the Pro Action Replay 3 should work. I have a PAR 2 myself, and I use it for that express purpose. Unfortunately, they're both quite expensive (with the PAR 3 going for as much as $70-$80 loose (as much as $100 or very slightly over CIB), and the PAR 2 at a more modest $30-$40 or so loose ($55-$70 CIB)).

Edit:  It's much easier, and in many cases cheaper, to simply buy a SNES image .  Which I also have...but I'm lazy and my Super Famicom just so happens to be right next to my TV image .
