Possible NWC type item?
Just got this in off ebay, and it is truly legit vintage, and official from Nintendo C 1990. I was thinking it may have been a bootleg, but I can assure you it is the real deal.
it is located here. Type in the item # in the ebay search bar:

Any insight in this? I can't find anything that relates Nintendo to a "Tour De FUN"...

Just curious, but how do you know it's legit? It could be an authentic bootleg from 1990
Yes, it could be a bootleg, but why would they use the copyright 1990 nintendo down at the bottom of the graphic of the shirt? I figured if they were just trying to pull a bootleg, they wouldnt full out use the copyright on it. Then again, I could be wrong.

also, the idea of bootleg stuff is to pass it off as original so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest that it has the copyright stuff on there, not saying its a bootleg or not just sharing my thoughts on the matter
i have no idea if they are related at all but as soon as i seen the tee it reminded me of this thread

Wow, great lead!!! I looked everywhere for a Nintendo tour outside the US, and this very well could be a possibility. Thanks for the contribution!
And as of now, I still dont technically know if it is a bootleg or not. I still wouldnt think though that someone would bootleg a shirt. Does anybody have pics of bootleg Nintendo shirts that were made back in the 80's?

Did you ever find more info about this shirt? I haven't heard of that tour, but have been getting into early videogame competitions recently. Do you still have the shirt?
Here's what I turned up in a quick Google search
