Thought I had signed up in the past, looks like I'm new after all!
Hi everyone, as the title says, it looks like I'm new here. I figure I'll poke around the forum a bit and see what's up. I'm almost done with my NES/SNES/GBC/GBA collections, but I've actually come here to read stories from other (presumably) like-minded folks and their tales of collecting; I've always found the history of gaming - personal or otherwise - to be really interesting. At any rate, glad to be here on a Nintendo-centric forum, and I'm looking forward to getting to know folks around the place!

Thank you! I'm not from Ontario, and I won't be in the province much longer, but I've met some pretty cool collectors at events like the Barrie Game Exchange and the Cambridge-Waterloo swap.

I was actually! That was my first one. I bought a game from Kamal, and a few from Peter; I still need his Keio Flying Squadron!
Did you go to the show a couple weeks ago? It wasn't great, but I was able to knock a couple games of the list.
Welcome to NA! Great guy to deal with here. Every time I come across Mega Man games, I think to whether you may still need it for the collection!
Thank you for the kind words, and yes, I still need MM 1 & 5...I've been holding off those two in order to pick up some of the titles that have been harder for me to find CIB.

nah, I lacked the funding this time around I filled some good holes in the collection last time though. I'm going to try to make it next year for sure

I'm not looking for complete sets, just all the games that I'm interested in. Back in the day, my friend won a Blockbuster competition that meant we'd get (2-3 iirc?) free rentals every week for a year, so we would rent EVERYTHING, lol. It's been a journey to get all those titles and ones I had never been able to try but looked cool since the late 90's.
