I'm relatively new to hardcore collecting. I've mostly just bought some stuff here and there. I'm really looking to cement myslef in the collecting hobby now though. Mainly I focus on handhelds and sega genesis. although as I said i'm new so I don't really have anything at this point. just a few games and my xbox 360.

Welcome to NA! When it comes to collecting, find your passion and stick too it. I have read many a "I'm quitting thread" with people who tried to collect everything all at once. If you are into saga, don't forget to check out our sister site segaage.
Yea, i've went through that already. a few years ago I went at it for the first time and quit within six months. spent too much time and money foolishly trying to get everything. The main focus now a days is sega and playstation, with a minor in nintendo. and I say minor only because I only wish to collect from gamecube up. nothing wrong with the systems before it, just not something I have a connection with.
anyway yea, I'll post some pictures on the collection thread when My gameroom is finished coming loosly together.
